Perfect location amidst the rainforest, couldn't be much better. The buildings are old, and really in need of refurbishing. Considering the location, the restaurant was of a relatively good standard. Breakfast simple but good. 5 for location, 3 for the rest, average 4....

We stayed 1 night to experience the Cape Tribulation area. Our single room was set in lush tropical gardens and was clean and well appointed, albeit a bit dated. There was no TV in the room and roaming free wifi is available in the bar, although it was a bit patchy. Our tariff included a light continental breakfast in the...

We, a family of 5, had 2 rooms. One big hut was nicer but needed some maintenance. Was ok though. The other seemed brand new and clean. Beautiful gardens. The food wasn't special but good value for money. Nice pool!! Helpful staff as well. Good starting piont for sight seeing in the aera. We for example went fruit tasting in...

The area itself is amazing!!! Cabins were set up really nicely really the only downside was that some are really musty and mouldy smelling. I feel like if the pillows were changed out more often that it would make a world of difference. Or bring your own if you are planning to stay here. Otherwise awesome stay perfect location!

Loved the idea of the garden room we stayed in as kids has their own sleeping area upstairs. In reality they are just so in need of some TLC. Room smelt so musty and damp all the time. Nothing seem clean even cables on hairdryer and other appliances were black mould. Realize they are in the jungle but sure something...

Huge bed was a winner. Size of room and views spectacular. Lovely warm showers once you get the hang of it. Would have liked screens in doors or windows to let some fresh air in. Pool lovely. Service friendly. Don't bargain on expansive brekkie. Basic but sufficient.

I've spent 2 nights in this hotel and if living just next door to mother nature is what you want you should go there! I got a private room, nice with ac but a little bit humid (yes it's in a forest), reception is ok thought it closes quite early, there are 2 pools but in the shade (I went...

We have just checked out after two nights leaving very disappointed!! The surrounding areas like the pool and restaurant is really nice, then you walk into your room!! We stayed in the pool side rooms.... The beds, if that's what you want to call it felt like sleeping on concrete... I would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car....

We were really looking forward to our stay at Ferntree Lodge, my wife had stayed here 13 years ago and she had always wanted to come back but unfortunately we found it a big letdown. The rooms and facilities were really, really tired. We found the room filthy and the whole place smelt musty and felt damp, not nice getting...
