We stayed this week for one night , I believe that the new owner has changed the name to Marg’s B&B and has only just taken over. The house is custom designed for B&B with the guest rooms being on the lower floor with external access. The rooms are immaculate with everything you could need including Wifi, Internal access will take you upstairs for breakfast , we were also invite to take drinks on the balcony to watch the sunset. Our hosts are very accommodating and nothing was to much trouble. The views over Bowen are brilliant. I wish Marg and her husband every success in their new adventure.

I booked this place rather last minute via Booking.com after deciding to stay over Bowen. The name of the place on Booking.com is Margs Bed and Breakfast and that's because new owners Marg and Trevor took over the running of the place around July. the house is built on a hill and so gives a stunning view, especially at sunset and sunrise and all the rooms have an outdoor seating area to enable you to do this. I had a chance to view the handful of rooms available. All are equipped and cater for all the basic needs a guest would require. Most rooms have ensuites, a fridge, tea and coffee, TV, A/C, fan amongst other things including the backdoor under the veranda type outdoor seating. Wifi is free and works well.And the room deco/art is nicely done. There is a BBQ area and breakfast is provided on the entry level. Free car parking is available and the location is safe and secure and close to the painted mural water tank. Location is great with easy drivable access to shops, food outlets or towards the beach all of which you get an nice aerial overview from whilst viewing from the house. Covid19 restrictions and details collecting of details as required by law were applied with social distancing during breakfast time. I was happy to have discovered this place and stayed there and met the wonderful hosts. Highly recommended to all. I'd love to return with family and/or friends in the near future.…

Very comfortable, very relaxing, very welcoming. Our room was just right. The view from the balcony - see my sunset photo. In room fridge, air-conditioned, en-suite shower and loo. Breakfast - just wonderful. Good coffee, good food, and then we had to hit the road on our last leg of the journey home. Oh well - definitely on our list of places we like to stay.

Amazing find for a last minute booking for an overnight stop (found on booking.com). Perched a top the highest point in Bowen- A brand new 12month old house with modern bright furnishings finished with worldly art. Bargain accommodation for a beautifully appointed room and bathroom, stunning 360 degree views of all of Bowen, wonderful host and a breakfast spread to beat any professional 'continental breakfast' establishment. Watch the sunset over the mountains from your balcony then wake up with breakfast and a sunrise on the communal kitchen balcony where Madeline takes care of your food and drink. Amazing! 5/5 STARS!
