Absolute luxury looking out onto a private beach and right next door to another. Wonderful walks, perfect place. I loved Bowen. Told many mates its the best by far on the famed Queensland coast. On occasion we popped down to visit the big name resort towns with the maddening crowds but would race back to our own savvy suite. Probably need a car, but not if seeking solitude.

Fell in love with this place. Rooms, people & service good. Need car. Closest cafe is next bay, can walk or drive. Drive into Bowen for shopping and sightseeing. Beautiful walks with great views and workout. Definitely going back!

My team and I stayed here for work purposes directly after the cyclone. From day one the staff were so accomodating, warm and friendly and were so quick to clean up post cyclone. The rooms are very spacious and contain all the amenties you need especially the 1 bedroom apartments which have a fully equipt kitchen and laundry, perfect for cook ups and long stays. If you are fortunate enough to score a room that faces the ocean you get the most amazing view everyday with a spectacular sunrise and sunset. You literally walk down to the beach and you are in the water! The amazing rock formations surrounding the area are great for exploring and I loved being greeted by the owners boader collie 'Macca' each morning when I left for work each day. I am so sad I did not have more time…

Booked for Easter, staff have cleaned the place up after the cyclone and the place is fully operational. The staff here are super friendly. Are apartment is great, ocean views. Bacon and eggs for breakfast watching the sun rise is priceless

Rose Bay resort is the perfect place for our family gathering. The rooms were spacious and well set out. Front garden and parkland is beautiful and the glorious Coral Sea is right at your doorstep. Children could play outside of the unit in the gardens and playground. The area is well provisioned with good Coffee shops and restaurants in Bowen and Horseshoe Bay. The water park in Bowen was also a fun morning for the kids.
