During our five-week tour of the East Coast of Australia, we recently spent three days at this wonderful resort. It certainly ranked among the very best of the ten places we stayed at so far. It was a bit out of the way, quiet and totally relaxing. We had a clean, spacious, well-equipped one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The view across the bay from the unit and from the patio in front was terrific. The best part was that there was no road to cross to get to the beach. We were virtually on it. Conveniently located covered parking was included in the reasonably low price, as was wi-fi. Other great scenic beaches like Horseshoe Beach can be reached by car in a few minutes. A car is probably a necessity since there seem to be no stores or restaurants nearby. There is bus…

Away from the business end and right on top of the beach! Very relaxing with some great bush and/or beach walks nearby. Well appointed apartments with a balcony overlooking the bay. A quiet, ‘out of the way’ hotel well worth a visit.

We stayed here in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor. Very clean, wonderful bed and large bathroom. This is the perfect spot for relaxing. Great balcony overlooking the beach, which is a lovely quiet spot for swimming. You need to have a car as it is quite a distance from any restaurants or pubs, but we were happy to get fresh seafood and sit on the balcony for dinner each night. Would definately recommend.

Right on a really beautiful swimming beach, with balconies that provide lovely sea views (use Aeroguard after sunset!). Clean and well appointed, including a lift and luggage trolley. The bed was perhaps a little firmer than our preference. It does help to have a car if you want to explore Bowen further. The pool is small but pleasant. We were (unintentionally) difficult guests but were treated with absolute kindness and courtesy. We hope to visit again next year for a longer stay.

Stayed here for 4 days,what a beautiful spot,the beach and surrounds are very well looked after,the accomodation is right on the beach,great strip of grass for kids to kick a ball around,the units are really nice,clean,spacious,and well supplied with a kitchenette in our case, a large fridge,and a balcony view to the sea and scenery,lovely to leave your balcony door open at night for the sounds of the sea,pleasant managers,what's not to like about this peaceful haven.
