We came to dive the Yongala and stayed for 2 nights after originally being booked at the Ayr Country Inn Motel. The Travelers Motel is bright, clean, spacious, and AIR CONDITIONED which other options are not. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room decor isn't great and the shower gets water on the tile, but relative to other options, this... More

Great looking Motel inside and out. I had awesome night sleep and Thanks for putting blanket up to block out the sun in my mates room, That's top service to recognise that for nightshifters. Thank you for a great experience.

The motel has been recently renovated, in a previous life being the local squash court. A magnificent job in completing the conversation has been achieved. A really pleasant stay, very comfortable, well appointed and very friendly staff.

Travelling to Ayr for work, I randomly picked this motel based on reviews and was not disappointed. The rooms are spacious with a very funky 'big' bathroom and I liked the inclusion of a microwave which is handy for a lone traveller to heat their Chinese takeaway!! I didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast so can't comment on... More

The hotel was lovely inside. Plenty of space. Rooms look amazing very stylish. Lots of room. Beautiful bathroom. Feels like luxury. Unfortunately the hot water was almost non existent. The preasure in the shower was terrible and it ruined the stay. I have stayed twice now hoping it was just the ine room but it wasn't. If they fix the... More

We recently had to travel to Ayr to attend a friend's funeral. We drove from Townsville and arrived before the official check in time. However, we were permitted to go to our rooms to freshen up. The motel is amazing. It is so modern, cool and fresh. I think it is the nicest motel I have ever stayed in. The... More

This place is basically a place to sleep over night. Rooms are comfortable but nothing too flash. No Robeson mini bar and very basic rooms, however I slept comfortably. Friends who were staying in the other room complained of a flat battery in their smoke alarm that was going off every half an hour but I didn't have this experience.... More
