The whole complex was very comfortable and welcoming. The host, Ziggy, was very helpful and fun to talk with. The room, bed and furnishings were very comfortable. Convenient location to the town centre for restaurants, cafes and other necessities, but a very quiet spot. Will go back again.

We stayed in Room/Suite 2, overnight, during an escape to Daylesford. The rooms were spotless and all needs were well thought out. The bedrooms were right alongside each other, perfect for our needs - parents and two kids. Two bathrooms, also side by side, allowed our kids to 'claim' one as their own. Would stay again. Oh! And the bed...

Well, we had decided not to book anywhere in advance and it was late when we arrived in town...so would we find somewhere nice, quirky and affordable? Well yes we did! We stayed in the Mills section of the complex, a building almost as old as Daylesford itself. Ziggy, the hyperactive owner and restorer of the property had kept the...

Spent a really enjoyable evening at the Albert. Ziggy is a very pleasant host with a very interesting past as Australia's most successful amateur wrestler. He has a wonderful display of memorabilia from his participation in 3 Olympics and Commonwealth Games. We were fortunate to meet George who is a champion UFC fighter who trains with Ziggy. The rooms are...

I booked this online and was very surprised at the size and overall experience of this apartment, plus the friendliness of the owner, Ziggy. This was a very modern and well appointed apartment with a large lounge/eating area, plus large spa bathroom and large bedroom. The decor was modern and there was more than average extras which allowed for preparation...

My wife and I have just spent two nights at this "olde worlde" hotel. Decomissioned back in the 1980's as a pub it affords very comfortable accommodation at affordable rates. Ziggy, the owner is a very friendly person and is willing to show you around and explain amenities. We had one of the rooms down stairs in the hotel itself...

Awesome. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. Really old world accomodation taking us to the 1850s. Everything is antique. Ziggy and his wife appeared later with an adorable dog. Really nice people. Very soft comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and centrally located. We will be back. Rod and ayu

Friendly couple run this hotel, we were made feel welcome at the check in. The common area with a complimentary vino is a nice touch. Antique furniture and soft mattress in the room. Bathroom had great water pressure. Good option for an overnight stay in the spa capital of victoria.

If you want to stay in a guest house where you can be left alone, this is the place to stay. The owners were friendly and helpful when we needed them. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment which was very spacious with a bathroom, living, kitchen and dining room. Another benefit of this room was the fire, which is...

Stayed here in the honeymoon spa suite for our 5th wedding anniversary. Lovely big suite with spa bath & comfy bed. Quaint old building which has been lovingly renovated. Short walk into the Main Street to shops, restaurants etc. Suite had everything we could want & very nicely decorated, would stay here again if coming back to Daylesford. Had an...
