This was our third time attending the music festival. We camp out with our fifth wheel trailer in the resort. This year we brought no less than 30 people. We had so much fun in past years we invite as many friends as we can. Again this year was super. The performers were great, the resort is great, the staff...

Term 'Resort' should be taken with a grain of salt & vinegar. The only reason it gets a rating is the desk staff are awesome. The rooms are disgusting & grossly outdated, not to mention, dirty. Couldn't even imagine having a shower & feeling clean. Pictures (which are both the same) are screwed to the wall & definitely not worth...

We made a reservation by phone before leaving Edmonton. When we arrived that night (in the rain and cold, on motorcycles), they informed us they didn't have any reservation made for us, which really put me and my wife in a terrible bind! No help from the staff on this. We were lucky to have found a room in Nordegg,...

I was a little sceptical based on some of the previous reviews but there was such a disparity between the opinions offered, I thought I'd just go and see for myself. The two young ladies at the front desk were warm and friendly and checked us in very efficiently. Our camp site was a nice big drive through (we have...

This resort is in the middle of the beautiful Canadian Rockies and is truly an interesting experience. It is what you want to make it and is very reasonable compared to hotel and motel prices in the rest of the park. The motel is older but our room was certainly well maintained and very clean. Cell phones don't work here,...

Spent two evenings here as it provided 42 km access to the national parks to the west. Prominent features include concrete block room walls, harvest gold bathroom fixtures and velveteen blankets on two double beds supported by 2x4's with four TV stations on 20" screen to enrich entertainment experience. Drought years likely contributed to all the dead pruned trees lining...

The website looked great but we were sorely disappointed upon arrival. The lots weren't dirty but they weren't clean feeling either. There was low water pressure and the site hookups were outdated and uneven. The park was filled with outdated and what seemed to be unsafe playground equipment, but our kids loved being on the old-school stuff. The wifi didn't...

We just had a reunion with over ninety family members present at this resort and I was so impressed with the staff and their going the second mile to accommodate our various needs. With that many people and their various lifestyles and tastes it is hard to make everyone happy, but David Thompson Resort did it. The location is great...

We booked this camground early in December 2013, honestly looking for a venue to host a family reunion in 2014 a little closer to home. Nearly everything that we could find locally was not available in the time frame we needed, or on site services would not fit the bill for people traveling from the U.S. and Canada. I have...

I had been at this resort previously and had a wonderful experience. Most recently though, I had made a reservation which was not on record and even when I presented several emails showing the communication, the lady (who claimed to be management) still would not take responsibility for the mix up or offer anything in the way of other options....
