Words struggle to convey how amazing the Felbridge hotel is. The staff all go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued.
The restaurant serves the most delicious food, all beautifully presented.
The gym and pool area is well maintained and very relaxing.
Honestly, couldn't fault the place.

We needed a base to be able to visit family following the easing of lockdown and having stayed here before knew that we would be well looked after. We were fully aware that facilities would be limited, both at the hotel and locally so opted for DB&B. As we were staying for 3 nights the general manager upgraded us to a room big enough for a small table to eat at (restaurant and bar area closed).
Part of the reason for our stay was to host a socially distanced tea party for relatives, which as the weather was so wonderful we were able to do in the lovely courtyard which is such a brilliant bonus for the hotel. Warm and sunny with lots of tables and chairs it was perfect anyway, but the staff really went out of their way to help....finding us flowers, tablecloths, ice buckets. They made it special.
We have described the whole experience as posh camping! We had laughed throughout at our grab bag evening meals and breakfasts. All are produced by the chef on site but they make no secret of the fact that in an effort to minimise contact with the food it is simple fare. We enjoyed the burgers; I had the beetroot and the other half had the coronation chicken. The pasta is also lovely, as is the chicken tikka Marsala. Breakfasts are a choice of bacon baps or continental ( pastries and cereal). I suppose the only thing is the amount of plastic waste this is creating but in these odd times that is a small price to pay.
Everything we have asked for has been done for us and it’s made us more determined to come back when things are back to normal.
If you can’t be flexible then you are probably better staying at home, but if you want to come away then a stay here is lovely.

+1
We arrived on Sunday for a 2 night stay and had booked a club room. We requested a room which opens up to the courtyard outside which was kindly honoured. We were checked in by a lively lady called Carla who was so accommodating. She explained that breakfast is a grab and go and the options were either pastries or a bacon nap. You just need to let them know what time you'd like it for. The restaurant is still closed but food is available in the Qube bar. It is a limited menu but there were still a few choices we liked.
Our room was beautiful and extremely spacious.
Room service is not carried out daily if staying more than one night which wasnt a problem for us as we took antibacterial wipes.
If more toiletries or towels were required then you just needed to call Reception.
We ate in the restaurant the first night and were served by Adriana, a lovely, friendly lady. I'm so used to seeing the hotel so busy it did make me sad to see it so quiet. The staff are all going more than one job within the hotel as some staff are still furloughed so do bare that in mind if things take a little longer than usual.
The pool and spa are still closed but we still had a fantastic stay. They ste also participating in the Eat out to help out scheme.
Until next time Felbridge. We can't wait to return.

Was really looking forward to a night away but I left feeling less than impressed. When we were arrived the receptionist was not informative about the parking fee at all and actually found her manner quite rude. We booked through booking.com and on our confirmation it stated we would have bath robes and slippers but according to the staff this changed in October and that was not actually included now even though we booked it in September. They gave them to us in the end as a goodwill gesture. The room itself was nice and clean but when we went to the spa I was not impressed. All the sunbeds were taken with towels even though there was no one to be seen. It was dirty and the floor was so slippery. The jacuzzi was cold and had a really bad smell to it. Not relaxing at all.
Then to top it off we went to dinner in the restaurant, we ordered steak which was £27 but it was so disappointing. The steak wasn’t that nice and it was served with frozen chips which were disgusting. Hardly worth the money at all. I can honestly say I would not recommend this hotel in the slightest. Total waste of money and will not ever be staying there again.

Myself and my friend have just returned from a weekend away here as a girls treat. (Sat 18th-sun 19th)
We honestly wish we hadn’t bothered.
We booked through booking.com and on our confirmation our room type stated we get complimentary bathrobes and slippers, however when we got to the room there was none. We didn’t think much of it until we decided to go to the spa we saw pretty much everyone else wearing one. We asked at the spa and they said you have to get them from reception.
We did go back to reception however there was a long queue so we just went back to the spa. Nobody told us we had to have a pound coin for the locker, we ended up taking our clothes round by the pool, which, surprise surprise all loungers had towels on them!? Brilliant we thought.
Not the best start.
Heading back to reception in our towels we again asked if we could have some bathrobes. The bloke at reception said they had a shortage and were in the wash!? Weird we thought. Anyway we headed back to our room where we got a phone call to say that the hotel had changed their policy in October and because we booked with booking we weren’t entitled to them? We booked this stay in September! However they said as a gesture of goodwill they will give us some. Gesture of goodwill? We were meant to have them anyway, regardless if they’ve changed their policy they should have honoured this in the first place...?
Back to the pool we headed, that wasn’t brilliant, the jacuzzi smelt, the floor was way to slippery.
Now, onto dinner, well, we would have been better saving our money and going to McDonald’s!!
Our booking was for 6.30 because they said they were really busy and it was either that or 9, but the table next to us was still empty when we left at half 7? Ok.
The menu didn’t have much choice at all, so we both decided to go with the steak and chips at £27 each.
It arrived within about 15 minutes and no joke it was not worth that amount of money!! The chips were easily McCain or aunt Bessie chips, the steak was ok but then again you can get good steak from Lidl or Aldi...they did take my friends price from the menu, but £27 for a steak and chips, you expect homemade chips surely!? Completely overpriced to say the least!! They also very much hurried us out the restaurant by giving us the bill, still had a full glass of wine left...
I also did not agree with having to pay for the parking, I mean, I’ve already paid to stay the night so why should I have to pay to park my car when I’m a paying guest anyway?!
Overall totally a disappointing stay here and I will not be staying here again and I would not recommend this..food was totally overpriced and the fact it said on paper that we were entitled to bathrobes and slippers.
Picture attached of the £27 steak and chips.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza at the end of December and our stay was ruined by inconsiderate guests and the lack of any management input in controlling late night revellers.
It is unfortunate that this is my first bad review for an IHG hotel however I have to tell it it as it is. From the perfunctory welcome- no pleasantries exchanged and no acknowlegedment of my membership status to our early morning departure where the on duty manager couldn't even be bothered to ask how our stay was, it was not our usual experience of this hotel chain. Indeed he spoke to a member of staff quite rudely in front of me and as it turns out incorrectly in any event, and then made the excuse he was a bit hard of hearing.
Anyway I have to stay our room was well presented, spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. As I use a wheelchair we have an accesible room and in this respect the hotel caters for disabled guests superbly. And one or two of the staff were extremely helpful, which is a bonus.
We also enjoyed a drink or two each evening we were there and the bar area was quite pleasant. Staff again were hit and miss , and again no exchange of pleasantries, save for our second night.
We did not eat at the hotel as we felt prices were too high and similar food was available within walking distance, at what we felt were more reasonable prices.
So all in all the hotel is very comfortable , clean and the big let down was the failure to control, (in our case) wedding party guests who were running up and down corridors , shouting , and once or twice knocking on bedroom doors in the early hours of the morning. This led to our second night being an absolute disaster, and for this reason we cannot recommend this hotel at all. Which is a shame , but the management responsibilty of looking after it's (reasonable) guests failed completely, and we finally did not get to sleep until 2;30 am. A disaster for us as we had to leave early anyway.
It is a shame I cannot recommend the hotel, but to stay at a quality hotel and put up with this sort of behaviour is simply not acceptable.

Overall very pleased with our recent stay at this hotel, having booked a 'seasonal retreat' package. The rate was very reasonable and the extras of prosecco and dipped chocolates in the room provided a nice touch to what was a special occasion. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed except robes which I think may have been overlooked. One other small criticism was the shower which soaked the bathroom floor quite readily due to an inadequate shower screen. The spa facilities were good, albeit a little strange that you couldn't walk direct from the changing rooms to the pool. However, the food was delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely book this hotel again

Myself and my husband spent the day here for my husbands 40th Birthday.
We were over the moon with the friendly and helpful staff.
Starting with breakfast, it was fresh, lots of choice and the warmest welcome from Kinga.
We then headed over to the spa and received the same warm welcome from everyone who we came in to contact with including the gentleman who was maintaining the pool and spa area.
The icing on the cake was the lovely birthday platter served to my husband after our tasty lunch!
All in all it was a lovely relaxing day, we will certainly go again and maybe next time we will stay over night.

Took advantage of a £70 voucher to reduce my room cost. The room I was provided with was small and of poor quality.
Comfortable night in a clean bed.
Breakfast served form 7:30am in the restaurant. At 7:40am there was only one guest eating and I stood for 6 minutes waiting to be seated. Then a further 5 minutes before my order being taken. Never known such poor breakfast service with only one other guest in the restaurant.
The worst part was 4 days later, my wife received a £100 parking ticket for dropping me off at the hotel. We asked reception if it was OK to leave the car outside while she carried my bag to the room (I am a stroke victim of 10 days and unable to carry anything heavy). My wife was told 'no problem' to leave the car there while unloading.
I am visiting Felbridge again in 4 weeks' time, but will not be booking this hotel.

My daughter & I chose this hotel so that she could have a pregnancy massage and so that we could have a nice relaxing time before she has her 2nd baby.
So many things were not the way we had expected or planned at this hotel....
1. Booked this hotel especially for pregnancy massage: No therapist on Mon or Tue available to carry this out, both the days that we were there!
2. We wanted to use the pool at our leisure: We were not allowed in the pool area as we had a child with us. Anyone with children had ONLY 1 HOUR BETWEEN 9am & 10am!
3. We asked for a fridge in the room, there was not a fridge; having said this, we did get one put into our room after waiting a bit.
4. No duvet or bedding in the cot for our 1 year old. She got very cold after being just the duvet cover, do duvet to sleep with! I asked for a single bed duvet, only got a 'duvet cover'!
5. The food choice was very sparse in choice at dinner. Very disappointing menu!
6. We requested halal chicken or meat prior to our stay, this was not met so therefore, we had to have veggi pasta, can make at home for £2, got it for £15 at the hotel!!!
7. Had to wait quite a long while before our fridge & extra pillows came.
8.Hotel rooms dated. Need upgrading.
I ended up regretting booking for a hotel 1.5 hours drive from me, paying £100 whereas, I could have just paid £30/£35 and had the same experience! We couldn't use the pool at all, couldn't get the spa treatments done, drove so far for these things, got almost nothing we wanted. So sad,
So many things were not the way we had expected or planned at this hotel....

Sorry I have no idea. We didn’t use the pool.
I think it may well be, but we have never been there late enough in the morning so if breakfast was included we didn’t have it.
Breakfast is included with all club rooms

I think it’s only outdoor pools at present everywhere.
