What a find, a lovely old coaching inn, plenty of character and wonky floors, but well appointed with comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast made to order included in the price. We stayed the night after visiting the racecourse and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of pubs in the town including its own brewery hidden in the back...

What a perfect venue! We had our wedding here three weeks ago, and couldn't ask for more than what all the staff at the Saracens Head did for us. Our special day was absolutely perfect and definitely a day to remember. For our wedding the food provided was absolutely delicious, just as it has been every time we have visited...

I booked a double room. Was pleasant with a good sized bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Decor was charming and modern but with that oldie wordie feel you might expect from this type of building. Double bed was comfy. Other facilites includes WiFi and complimentary tea and coffee making facilies with biscuits. Breakfast in the morning was just...

This was a fantastic place to stay for around £50. The place is clean and charming with a classic feel. It all feels very Jane Austen and the reception staff were absolutely excellent. We took dinner in our room and the receptionist was more than happy to bring us an ice bucket. Dinner was excellent value for money. The room...

Dear OTBC Thanks for your review. With reference to your feedback we appreciate your detailed response. I take your points regarding breakfast on board as you should always be informed of items unavailable. We do have an interesting 400 year old building and it does creak and is uneven in places. It is great to know that your stay was...

This is a nice coaching inn type hotel with friendly staff but it suffers fundamental problems which ruined our stay. The Saracens head is a bit of a rabbit warren as these old hotel have a want to be but that is half the charm. The hotel's decor was pleasant, the car park ample and location convenient. We live locally...

Dear Squirellmonkey Thank you for your extensive feed back regarding your stay. The noise from room 15 commencing at 7.30am on Saturday is the kitchen extraction system. We cannot operate the kitchen without turning on the extraction. Your comments regarding your stay concern me. Please call me on 01327 350414. Regards David Ruck General Manager

Stayed for one night it is cosy, if a little dark in the decor. The room was pleasant, the bathroom a little tired and a very shallow bath. The room was clean and a comfy bed. With a car park at the back and on the high street so easy access to visit the town A good price and a...

Very nice place, good rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast. Very reasonable. We parked at the back which is very handy. Will book again. Very close to Silverstone race track if you are planning a track day, it is very handy.

The reason why its a 3 is the rating is based on the 400 year old bedroom building and not the room. My husband and I stopped for Valentines evening and stopped in room 19, a loft room which we were looking forward too. Firstly, we could not get the key out of the door no matter how we tried...
