Barbara and Sam were excellent hosts. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Fresh towels. I cannot fault the accommodation and would recommend slapton manor to anybody be it one trippers, on business or plainly to stay for a weekend or whole week. What I think was great was seeing the farm animals wondering around the place whilst you sat...

I cannot fault this place. We stayed in a comfortably sized room with bathroom, kitchen amenities and t.v. We were more than happy with the cleanliness of the room and the kitchen was stocked well enough for our needs. I had asked for a chilled bottle of sparkling wine to be waiting for us as it was a 60th birthday...

Don't expect Homes&Garden perfection, but a very comfortable and well appointed accommodation in a blissful rural setting with a warm and genuine welcome on a working farm. I stayed here as a antidote to the nearby corporate ghastliness of Whittlebury Hall and got a beautiful bargain at a quarter of the price! Would come back as a perfect base to...

This was our family's second visit to Slapton Manor and once again we all agreed that it was just lovely and a great success.. We had four rooms of different sizes according to the number of grandchildren in each. Altogether we were 8 adults, 4 children and 2 babies. Everything worked beautifully, the rooms very clean and the furnishings delightful...

We found this gem at the last minute for a 4 night break at half term. We had a self catering studio, so cannot comment on the breakfast. But the studio was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and the beds comfortable. Barbara kindly brought in an extra bed for our son. The shower in the wet room had good pressure and...

A one night stop over whilst travelling with American family visiting UK. Barbara and her team were amazing, very attentive and helpful. Rooms are traditional with lovely beams and stonework. They were well resourced with everything you need. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Beds comfy. Thank you Barabara and family for such a lovely stop over, my family...

English hospitality is the stuff of legends, but at Slapton Manor you can experience it for yourself. Situated in the middle of the Northamptonshire countryside, this is not a farm conversion, like so many, this is a real working farm where traditional rural family welcomes are warmly extended to guests. The rooms are tastefully designed, well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished. Everywhere...

We staid there for one night and the owners could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The room and bathroom were both immaculate and the Continental breakfast was excellent! We will definitely stay there again.

Very large, quiet and comfortable room. It is a unique environment on a working farm and next to a medieval church. Barbara provided a continental breakfast in our room each day. They have more elaborate breakfasts on the weekends. Great bucolic views in every direction. We were doing genealogical research looking for ancestors in nearby Abthorpe. It was a great...

Slapton Manor is a quintessential English gem located in rural Northamptonshire. The Smith family have been farming at Slapton Manor for 4 generations, in fact since 1924, and still going strong today. Alongside our farm we offer en-suite accommodation studios beautifully converted from traditional cow byres and stables. Slapton Manor's farm stead is steeped in history, with its 12th century manor house, 12th century parish church of St Botolph, renowned for its medieval wall paintings along with an 18th Century Threshing Barn full of rustic charm. Slapton Manor's accommodation studios are all self-contained conversions. Our studios are located around a historic fold yard each offering individual entrance, ensuite bathroom, small kitchenette, complimentary wifi and ample parking.
