Stayed 2 nights in the Solicitors room. We enjoyed our stay and the room was very comfortable. We had a very nice welcome from Tim and shown into a very nice sitting room and provided with a pot of tea and a delicious slice of ginger cake. Breakfast was superbly cooked by Tim. We had one evening meal which while...

We stayed for one night in the Magistrates' room and enjoyed the experience, although it is on the front of the building and very close to the road so a bit noisy. The room was of a reasonable size, however, the en-suite is tiny - just the width of a shower with the shower at one end, toilet at the...

we have just stayed in this charming b and b and enjoyed its unique character and warm welcome from Tim. The Hayloft room was ideal and well equipped with a large comfy bed and tea and coffee was plentiful. It is within easy walking distance of the Town and well worth a stay.

I and my wife stayed three nights at The Old Lock Up. To stay in an old prison was an unusual experience. The Coachman's Room was a little small and the bathroom tiny. Everything clean and a very good bed. The breakfast was great! The well preserved building was an attraction by itself. and so was Wirksworth despite somewhat limited...

We stayed at this B&B on a deal which was excellent value for money. We were in the Hayloft room which is one of two rooms in the coach house and was probably the smallest of the four rooms available which is to be expected when on a deal for one night. The room was very comfortable with all the...

Lovely little guest house in the busy town of Wirksworth in Derbyshire. Just a one night stay in this characteristic olde Police station, full of mystery and authenticity. We stopped in the solicitors room a well appointed room to the rear of the property nice bathroom and comfy bed in a quiet location, a few steps away from the town...

Overall a good experience. Stayed for two nights in this quaint converted police house. Comfortable and cosy room. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of foods. A good base for exploring Derbyshire. Would recommend to friends and family.
