This new refurbished Pub in the centre of Glossop has excelled itself. The surroundings are lovely. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I had the steak and ale pie and it was really tasty. The ice cream counter looks amazing - and the ice cream is some of the best I've tasted. Will definitely...

Centrally located, the Norfolk Arms is the perfect place to stay. The rooms are spacious and peaceful. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pub has just been renovated and is comfy, bright and tidy.

Today we decided to have a meal in this lovely pub. Plenty of tables to choose from and the decor is stunning. Hubby and I decided to have sandwiches, one a ham on a white bloomer and the other chicken and bacon on a sandwich consisting of three slices of toast, both these came with fries and coleslaw - mmm...

Food usually great and went in for the first time since refurb- must be a different chef and ingredients . Pie was rock hard and inedible ! Chips were frozen and they are usually fresh ! Really disappointing and I didn't bother to change meal with young child didn't want to wait further. Put me off returning again !

Love this place. The owners have been very accommodating each time we've been here with our baby. The landlady is lovely and you always get a smile. The food is amazing, I've never had a bad meal here.

First of all the lady who served us was great but the food was poor. The pub is clean with a great atmosphere. We ordered a Sunday lunch and had high expectations with a new weather spoons pub across the road.Unfortunately when the food did arrive the presentation looked more like a car crash. The chef even had the nerve to send us...

I drink in here occasionally and the beer can be hit and miss. Ate food for the first time here last night had a salt and pepper pork rib special and it was awful. Very dry and well over cooked. Table service was very slow as well even though only 2 tables were being used

Dear Gareth, sorry for the delay in answering your comments. I really must apologise for your dreadful experience at the Norfolk Arms. We have recently undergone a massive refurbishment and the Norfolk Arms is looking amazing and as part of our refurbishment we have invested a huge amount of time and money training our staff to a very high level....

We stayed overnight. The room was large and homeley, clean, warm, the towels were beautiful, soft and white. Staff very polite and friendly. We didn't eat there but will do next time. We definitely will be staying there again.

Thank Mandy S

“We only saw one room and even though it was over the part of the Pub that smokers used outside it di not keep me awake and I would not have been able to sleep if it was noisy. It is also in the middle of Glossop but I did not notice the noise of traffic so I would assume that all the rooms are OK”

“Our room was at the back above the outside smoking area so was a bit noisy until closing time but not too intrusive. Maybe a room at the front would be better???”
