The landlord. Dave. He is a real character. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very well finished to a high standard. I awoke to the view of the church. very picturesque, set in a lovely part of the country. well recommended. *****

A nice stay overnight, as regular walkers in Derbyshire with the weather being so nice we decided to stay overnight. We stumbled over a quaint little pub. The Bulls Head; lovely room, fantastic views, traditional breakfast - excellent. And the bonus it was dog friendly. Will definitely be back

Welcomed nicely and good to find a pub where the dog is welcomed and made a fuss over. Interesting situation near Manor Park and set in the heart of Old Glossop. Can't comment on food or rooms as we just called in for a drink after walking the dog the day after Boxing Day.

I got talking to a very nice lady outside the front of the pub who happened to be the landlady. She said she didn't mind...

We have been here twice for Sunday Lunch over the last couple of months and both times we have enjoyed it very much. The 'new' landlord and landlady have been running the pub for a little while and they are doing a good job, very friendly and welcoming. The Robinson's beer is well kept and the best it has ever...

Me, my husband and my furbaby tripped out from Manchester to Glossop to come here for a Sunday lunch and we weren't disappointed. The food was lovely and home cooked and the staff were really friendly and welcoming - was definitely worth the trip.
