I've stayed here for 5 nights and can fully confirm hat's been said yet. I just like to clarify that the main access road to Derby is about 0,2 miles away and you can't hear any traffic noise. There is not really any useful public transport around - a Taxi from Derby train station would cost around 18 £. Everything...

Pros: Relatively easy to find and off a main road. Very clean rooms, nicely appointed and quiet. Nothing fancy or spacious, but the bed was soft and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Vegetarian, but that's ok with me. Good parking. The staff was nice, friendly and very well organized. Don't let the Buddhist part dissuade you from staying there. It...

Stayed three nights in a twin bedded room with wc, Shower down the corridor. The b&b is run by a Buddist community (they don't try to convert their guests). The only differences to the more usual b&b is no bacon in the cooked breakfast (but the vegetarian sausages are very good - much better than the usual), the occasional person...

Stayed here for one night for work and it is was cosy, warm and very clean and a welcome change to travel lodges and impersonal B&Bs. Set in the grounds of a large house used as a retreat, the rooms are individually accessed off a courtyard in converted barns. They are compact, but have everything you need, including fluffy towels,...
