Stayed for one night for a birthday treat for my partner, don't think we will come here again. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, but I would expect more luxury for the high cost to stay here. The room is quite small, and uncomfortably hot, we had a room in the main building with bushes outside the...

Just returned from an overnight stay at this hotel and what an amazing experience. The hotel is in a fabulous location right on the bank of the River Trent and is so quiet and peaceful. We stayed in Room 32 which had a view over the river and was well decorated with a lovely ensuite. For the first time in...

Booked a two night stay at the priest house hotel, Christmas eve and Christmas day. Never staying in a hotel over the Christmas period wasn't sure what to expect, the only thing I did know is that the hotel would be fantastic after staying in two other handpicked hotels. The drive up was fantastic the view of the river perfect....

Booked the Priest House for a two day well earned break. On a very good deal which included a full bottle of Bruno Paillard champagne which is really a very good champagne. Just wanted to relax and go for walks round and about. Well there really is no where to walk ,once you've seen the historical part, the river Trent...

Booked this via Secret Escapes, though I later found that the same offer was actually available directly via the hotel website so its always worth checking. We had a lovely 3 course meal including wine in the restaurant, and overnight in a cottage room and full breakfast the next morning. I was a little concerned after reading some bad reviews...

We were welcomed on arrival & the room was very nice and cosy on a cold Winters night. The bed was comfortable and there was a large TV which had Sky Sports. There were tea & coffee making facilities but the was...

My husband and I stayed here in October as it was the venue of our friends' wedding. The landscape was stunning and made for some great photographs. We stayed in a cottage where the keys to the outside door were a bit finnicky. The room itself was not big but it was cozy. We struggled with the heating at first...

Stayed overnight to avoid early morning drive to East midlands airport, the hotel is a quaint oak beamed establishment that lives up to it's four star rating. The staff on reception were helpful and informative, we eat in the brasserie the food and service was excellent

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights on a Secret Escapes deal. We planned to do more than we did because the weather was so bad. We only got to eat breakfast in the restaurant and ate our al a carte meal in the Brasserie. The first night we had excellent food and also excellent service from the bar...
