We stayed one night in the Travelodge so we could go to Alton Towers the following day. The room was clean and fresh, and the same as other travelodges. Basic necessities were provided - kettle, tea and coffee, towels, shower gel/shampoo. We paid for Wi-Fi but the code only worked for one device. The room was great for a budget...

The hotel was clean and comfortable but too hot.We would have preferred twin beds but the kingsize bed was very comfortable. The staff were welcoming polite and helpful. One member of staff went out of her way to recommend places to eat in the town.Extra towels and milk was provided as soon as requested.

We stayed here for three nights as we attended a family wedding in Ashbourne and then wanted to spend a couple of days exploring the area. The hotel reception were friendly and helpful, especially when we had issues with the vending machine! The room itself was clean and functional. It wasn't "attractive" but we didn't really expect that staying at...

I stayed for 2 nights with the family. The room was lacking some basics that are offered by other competitors such Premier Inn e.g. wardrobe, drawers, extra chair. The room was clean but needs moderation. Good location and service. Overall, unsatisfied with our stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We feel that we offer all that is needed for a comfortable night’s stay. This includes a clean room, comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities, flat screen T.V and an en suite bathroom. We do not provide extras which other hotels may provide so we can keep our room rates...

As a family of four we stayed here for one night before going onto Alton Towers. We had a family room..I was surprised that the children each had their own single bed rather than sharing a double sofa bed. The room and bathroom were clean. We did experience some noise from other guests with loud goodnight and door slams. But...

Stayed here overnight after my friends wedding. The rooms are lovely and decorated to a high standard. The bathroom has a brilliant shower that you don't have to freeze/scald yourself with to use. The bed was comfy and amazingly there was a TV that actually worked with all channels (something of a rarity I thought). The only couple of downsides was...

Read the website carefully when booking: double rooms don't have baths, just showers, so they are correspondingly smaller than the family rooms, which do have a bath. I was caught out by this quirk as I specified 2 adults, but the online booking form went straight to Double room, with no option to book a family room. The photos on...

We are sorry to hear about your recent experience at our Ashbourne Travelodge and we appreciate you taking the time to leave us your review. We understand your overall experience was not exceptional and we do apologise for this. Its disappointing to hear internal noise impacted your time with us and room temperature contributed to making your stay less comfortable....

A group of us girls were staying overnight to attend the xrunner wild run, this hotel and the stepping stones pub next door provide a great service to all customers. Very relaxed, very organised and didn't make a fuss that we came back from our run filthy.

As the title says, it's certainly one of the better and more modern Traveldoges I've stayed in. Very presentable from the outside, and the same inside. Room was clean and tidy, larger bed (Kingsize?) was a bonus and it was very comfortable Location is very good for visiting Alton Towers and the surrounding area. Plenty of parking available, and it's...
