Excellent staff, easy parking, clean rooms, quiet location and overall excellent value for money. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there is a Stepping Stones pub meters away which serves great food and again has great staff.

Last time we stayed as couple so no problem about breakfast/amenities but this time we decided to take the children too as there now old enough to manage a late night. We had a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October. The rooms are very basic, All that was in the room was a bed and a dressing table. No bedside table to put a drink on or anything and one chair. The shower was good (powerfull) It was a good location for us as we were going to Alton Towers which is... More

We stopped here for one night after visiting Alton towers, we were really pleased with the stay because it was only 10 mins drive from Alton. In the morning we were able to leave the car in the car park and walk into Ashbourne which was only 1 mile away and have breakfast! There was a lovely pub over the... More

We use this hotel as a base for a short break to Alton Towers (15-20 minute drive). The hotel has been updated and there is a restaurant next door as well as an Aldi, whic is really handy. The rooms are a good size and they have also improved the pillows - which was our biggest issue (last time we... More

Ideal as close to location and easy to access. Family room was ok size although didn't spend loads of time at the travel lodge. Fine for overnight stays and trips into Alton Towers with the family. Would stay there again.

We used this hotel as a stopover whilst visiting both Nottingham and Derby and found it a good base as it was close to the A52 Brian Clough Way so easy to get between the two cities. The staff were very friendly and the room was exactly what you would expect for a Travelodge i.e. clean but basic. There were... More
