Very nice place, friendly staff, very good breakfast. The conservatory where they serve breakfast is really nice and cozy. The room was nice and clean, very warm and with a beautiful view. A very cozy family hotel !

Good value hotel, looks like it's just had a revamp. We ate our evening meals in the hotel and have to say were lovely. Surf and turf was abit overpriced though😞. However breakfast wasn't as good as the evening meals. Would definitely stay again 😁

Me and my husband have just spent three nights here the room we had had recently been decorated so was to a high standard. We ate here each evening sampling many different dishes all were cooked lovely especially the salmon. The staff were very friendly sharing their knowledge of the area to help their guests. We have stopped at a...

Lovely family room. Superior King size bed and a full size single for our 10year old daughter. Both beds wonderfully comfortable. Room was a generous size and well equipped. Breakfast menu was amazing. We were made to feel very at home by the fantastic staff and nothing was too much trouble! We will stay again when next in The Lakes.

Rooms were great, clean, well equipped, with a nice bathroom. The bar area was comfortable to meet up for a lovely meal and few drinks with friends. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend this hotel. Unfortunately our daughter (aged 3) was suddenly ill overnight, and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The kind night porter, Neil, brought us more towels and...

The bathroom was spotless with a good shower and toiletries were also supplied. The towels were very good quality and so soft. We stayed...

Was very pleased with our stay here. It was only for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit worn. The breakfast was served in the conservatory, which was lovely, and the breakfast was one of the best I have ever had.

After a less than satisfactory stay in a standard room last year, the refurbished rooms are a dramatic improvement. Fresh, clean, good bed, nicely decorated, large flat screen tv and a good shower. The room and en suite are a bit cramped and the wifi is a bit borderline. The newly opened nearby Premier Inn will undoubtedly provide comparable accommodation...
