fantastic, welcoming , helpful hotel. Family Run, lovely home cooked food. Owners can not do enough. Helped us plan our stay and find the best places to go. Can not say enough about how welcoming they were. Best place to stay.

What an amazing hotel, friendly, welcoming and very family orientated. Our family of 4, including 2 young children, were made to feel very welcome. They couldn't do enough for us.... even a toy box available. With two fussy eaters they were very accommodating. Cant praise the place enough.

Stayed for a few days back in September... Room and hotel in general was great. Sue and her ladies really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. They even found me a partner to play a round of golf with at the local club. Great location for visiting the Lake District.

Have stayed here a few times, last being Friday 25th November. Its a family run hotel, always friendly, staff and owners always make guests welcome. Food is homemade and very very good, wouldn't stay anywhere else. It has a bar, free wifi in rooms and separate dining room. Its a short walk into town.

I came here with some friends a couple of months ago and can say we all thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband and I stayed at the hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. The room was spacious with plenty of storage and a sofa. The bathroom was large with a bath and shower over the bath. All very clean. The photos don't do the hotel justice, it appears that they have updated areas but no new photos on...
