I stayed for just one night in May as I was working in Whitehaven the next day. Read guest house is centrally located and has parking nearby ( which the owners can give you a pass for). It is clean, well equipped and the owners are very friendly. Generally the decor is a little bit tired but everywhere is spotless....

A warm welcome from Ann. I had a twin bed room which very spacious. I was lucky to have two bathrooms at my disposal as my room was not en suite. I believe I was the only one staying there at the weekend. I slept well, I did not take breakfast, even though it was included. The only down side was...

I felt really welcomed at this B&B. Great location, near everything you need, town, train station, pubs, council, etc. Some things so require some attention like the carpet in general will benefit with a proper cleaning. Other than that, food is good. In general this is a good value for money. Landlady really kind and friendly. Nice lounge and common...

Nice BnB in the heart of town and ideal for cyclists and tourist. Comfortable rooms and a lovely hearty breakfast in the morning. The house is Georgian era and has character and the share bathrooms are clean and modern. Parking can be tricky and most off at parking is pay and display.

I stayed at Reed House when I did the Reivers Cycle Route. My bike was securely stored. The room was not ensuite, but it had a sink and the bathrooms were excellent. It is a Georgian building near the market place. Definitely in the 'pretty' part of Whitehaven and close to all amenities. The owner was friendly, breakfeast good and...

Recently I stayed at the guest house for 5 nights whilst completing a course in the local area. The accommodation was lovely, the owners were very helpful and I felt very welcome whilst staying here. Although the rooms are not en-suite they are great for the price. I cannot fault this place for the price that I paid, had a...

A very good priced room to fit my needs. I arrived late and was welcomed in to a lovely warm house. I asked about parking and was directed to a local car park, and also offered a 'parking disc' for free for one hours' use the following morning. Nice warm room, clean bedding, tv, tea, coffee etc. Bathrooms on the...
