Stayed here for one night - owners were very welcoming and the accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The house is very well decorated and furnished with a dedicated lounge for visitors. My room had a very nice en-suite, I wish my shower at home was as good! Will definitely recommend and use again.

We stayed here for one night and this lovely guest house was perfect for us. We're ready spending the evening with our family and then we needed to leave early the next morning. We arrived slightly earlier than the 4pm check in but it wasn't a problem. We received a warm welcome and then we were shown to our room....

We have stayed at some 5star hotels that could learn a lot from this B and B with there guest focused attention. May Leisa and Dave continue with their wonderful work. Every time we stay there we feel like family. In those famous words "We'll be back".

My husband and I and a couple of friends Stayed for one night here last night, we were really looking forward to this trip and were soon dissapointed, we arrived about 2 o'clock which is the usual check in time, this B and B was 4 0'clock, it was bitterly cold and there was not a person in sight and...

We booked this hotel in advance, thought the pictures on the website looked okay and as we were only going to be in the room to sleep for one night - we weren't that fussed. So we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at just how beautiful the house is, the breakfast room is stunning, lots of little cute details,...

Thank you for your review and the kind words regarding our house. It is a shame that a minor misunderstanding at the end of your stay has caused you to give us such a low score. We should have made it clear that local knowledge tells us that the taxi companies do not like to drive down our driveway and...

We needed somewhere for a one-night stop-over for our onward journey up to Scotland, and the Corner House, Whitehaven fitted the bill for us to view a little of the Cumbrian coast and western Lake District en route. There was parking in the front garden area. Dave and Leisa gave a warm welcome, gave us keys for front and room...

I was looking for a B&B to stay in whilst visiting a friend in Whitehaven, we took the train down and needed somewhere that was fairly close to the centre of Whitehaven and my daughter was travelling with me so it needed to be child friendly as well. I came across the Corner House on Trip Advisor.. it was within...

Stayed in this B&B for 3 nights in the Widermere room. Excellent accomodation, great breakfast and friendly owners. Felt very comfortable and at home. Hope to return. An easy walk away from the town and it's lovely harbour.

The owners are friendly, efficient and helpful. The facilities were great and my salmon and poached eggs and my husband's English breakfast were yummy. Communication via email to arrange the packed lunch with Leisa was good and the packed lunch sustained us during our first day's cycling to Keswick!

Thank Emma S
