Staff very helpful . Swapped our room on arrival for a view of the estuary . Rooms were compact but very clean and warm. Had lunch/bar snack on arrival which was excellent . We ate in the hotel in the evening and found the quality of the meal first class. Lovely views and a couple of good walks. Highly recommend.

Lovely gem of a place if you have dogs. Magical. Rooms wouldn't win awards for size, but are comfortable, clean and no one in their right minds would spend too long in them anyway, given the location. Classic oldey English pub with fire, great food and nice, attentive staff. Only dogless snobs, who think all hotels should be like The...

We have just returned from a fantastic two night stay at the Bay Horse Inn. We were made to feel so welcome by the lovely and attentive staff and other residents. Our room was very clean and overlooked the water which was such a wonderful view (especially the early morning sunrise). We really loved just sitting by the fire with...

We booked for a few days to get away with our dog for some peace and quiet. We arrived at lunch time on Friday with the bar quite full of people enjoying a drink and eating their lunch and couldn't help notice the food looked amazing. The food at our evening meal certainly didn't disappoint, the best soup I've ever...

Having not been to the Bay Horse for a while, we met with friends here for drinks and an evening meal (more of a supper than dinner). The service was absolutely first class, the atmosphere and comfort level was convivial, and the food was really excellent. We ate from the "lite bites" menu which is reasonably priced and has a...

My partner and I stayed at The Bay Horse as a romantic weekend overnight stay. The Bay Horse is a pub with rooms off the beaten track overlooking Morecambe Bay. The road leading up to the pub isnt anything special and a bit industrial but the view at the end is worth it! However The Bay Horse is very tired...

What a spectacular view of Morecombe Bay from the conservatory window while you eat dinner !! You can even see the train coming and going in the distance as it gets dark. Unfortunately the view is better than the meal. The steak, although cooked to perfection, was very tough. Even the venision was a little on the tough side. The...

Went here for Sunday lunch, excited by prospect of a deficated vegetarian menu. Had to ask for the veggie menu (why can't it just be put out with the other menu). Main course was listed as £16.50, which is quite pricey for a veggie choice but thought that it might be worth it. Unfortunately it wasn't. Overcooked aubergine, leek and...
