With its beautiful setting in the fields of Ulverston, this former hotel is an ideal location for a holiday rental for large groups (ours was more than 20). Lots of space for kids to run around, and for everyone to have fun and relax, including a hot tub and games room. Large catering kitchen and other facilities too. Great place...

Stayed at eden lodge in feb. Starting at first impressions . The two bay windows on approach to front of house give a run down unkempt impression. On entering the hall there is a old reception desk which takes up so much space and is not used at all. On the left off the hall is a very big spacious...

Eden Lodge is an ideal venue for large family groups to have a holiday away together. All the rooms are spacious and well furnished due to its previous use as a hotel. The bathrooms look to of been recently refurbished and most of the rooms have king size beds. The lounge area easily accomodated the 24 of us staying there...

I visited Eden lodge mid April. We stayed in the main house that sleeps 25. On the way up the dive you could tell the place was going to be good with the well kept gardens and the big old house. Walking in side there where big tall ceilings and the decoration was very ornate fitting the age and style...

Enjoyed my stays here - food was always good (breakfast and evening meals) but it is a little bit remote - so if you are fine with that, go ahead and treat yourself. Just take care you don't drive past the place when you are on the coast road - easily missed, especially in the dark!

Stayed in the self-catering Cottage in the same grounds as the hotel this weekend, and it was brilliant. There was a large family party celebrating a 30th Birthday and the 6 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms and tons of living space was ideal. The Kitchen was really well equipped with everything we could have needed and then there was lots of...

From its beautiful setting, a combination of Mountains, Landscape gardens and Sea, to the welcome and personal service, through the rooms with beautiful fittings, to a delicious breakfast you design yourself... just tell them want you want and its there in a few minutes, Eden Lodge is "Claridges" little brother in Cumbria... Only my second visit, but I am trying...

I have stayed at the Eden Lodge many many times for over a year now on business in the area. Whilst experiencing the charm, professionalism and luxury of a first class hotel, the small details and attention to detail are certainly not overlooked. I must give the staff full marks for their dedication, whilst retaining the personal touch that truly...
