Location of accommodation was easy to find being in a roadside elevated position and well placed for touring the northern lakes, and only a 10 minute car journey to Keswick. The views from both front and rear of the property were beautiful. Helen was a lovely host, very attentive and pleasant. The breakfasts and choices were excellent in a morning,...

We stayed for 2 nights in early April and had one of the bedrooms upstairs (no 4 I think). The room was really well appointed, beautifully clean and the hosts Ivan and Helen couldn't do enough for us.

It had been complicated to find a B&B for three friends traveling in the region, so we were really happy when our hosts told us that they would arrange a room for us. As expected we were warmly welcomed by the hosts. During the entire time of our stay they have been really caring and thoughtful, and remained flexible until...

We stayed here the evening after having walked Blencathra. The couple who ran the B&B were extremely friendly and very helpful. Helen made us packed lunches and even gave us a lift to the foot of the walk we had planned the next day. The room was absolutely spotless and was equip with everything we could have needed. Fresh milk...

We had a lovely 3 night stay before Christmas with our three young children. Super atmosphere, very friendly and helpful owners, who were most accommodating especially with our little ones. They had really good attention to detail, everywhere was welcoming and clean. Really appreciated the fridge in our bedroom for baby food. The location in relation to the mountains and...

Came here for Valentine's weekend, paying a visit to some short trails near Ullswater, and doing some cool activities at a nearby farm (clay pigeon shooting, archery, etc.). The staff are lovely and accommodating. The rooms are clean, modern, warm, cosy... Everything you need. There's just a pub in the vicinity and not much else (does great food, also good...

I can definitely recommend staying here. The owners attention to detail was brilliant. we have 2 small children and the owners were so accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. from warming up milk, children's cutlery sets at breakfast (far better quality than we have at home!) plenty of OS maps (that we had forgotten to bring). A stocked drinks fridge...
