Comfy bed and nice breakfast but any pleasant conversation only came from bar staff, was not even asked how our stay...

Friendly staff and great service. Excellent breakfast and very good clean rooms with facilities. Really enjoyed the stay and made us very welcome. Location was good with free parking. Dallow Tower Estate is on the doorstep and just a short distance from a couple of lakes - beautiful location for walks.

I stopped off here on my way up to Scotland. I was given a room at the front overlooking the main street. During the day the road is busy and although there is secondary glazing it does not cut out the road noise. At night however the road is quiet and I was not disturbed by the traffic. In effect...

Staff were friendly and helpful, the owner however not so much and we felt uncomfortable with his sarcasm towards and about the staff. We along with several others were there for a sportive which meant an early start. Several cyclists had ordered butties for their breakfast as they were leaving before the main breakfast started, one guy got his but...

My friends ate at the pub on the night with me, all enjoyed our very generous meals and several bottles of wine. Nice friendly staff....

The hotel is well situated for visits to the South Lakes. It is a short journey to Arnside and Kendal. The food is very good and the atmosphere is quite with good spacious parking to the rear and close to the market and cricket ground

The Hotel is surrounded by a wealth of history, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, such as Leighton Moss, and a wide range of visitor attractions Milnthorpe has a long history - its busy Friday street market in the Square dates from 1334.
