Found a great deal by booking with Tingo through TripAdvisor - only £64 per night for a standard double room which the hotel couldn't match (their price was £85 per night). We didn't expect a 4-poster bed! Overall our room - number 37 - was clean and comfortable with everything we needed although it was in obvious need of updating...

We were paying a return visit on a special offer and there was a little confusion over our booking. This was quickly sorted and we were upgraded to a lake view room. As on the previous visit, the staff were all friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and the standard of cleanliness very good. I just hope they send...

Thanks for your visit and lovely comments, especially those about our hard working staff and delicious food. We love dogs and do allow them in most rooms, although we hold some off as dog free as well. Also, dogs are of course not allowed in the restaurant or pool area (even though they'd love a swim I'm sure!). I think...

If you are looking for a family break in January, that won't break the bank Newby Bridge Hotel might be the place. For just £85 (£105 if you add a toddler) a night a pair can stay in a bed and breakfast plus a three course dinner in the on site restaurant. The family room for 3 looked nice enough,...

My Wife and I had a Groupon deal for 2 nights B&B plus a meal on the first night. The Hotel had views over the river and very pleasant grounds. Our room was fine but although the bathroom looked spotless, a wipe around the toilet rim revealed a horror story! To their credit it was put right within minutes of...

This is a bit late, but thought I had already left a review and seems I haven't. Stayed here for 4 nights. Very dog friendly. Having read reviews before we went I asked for a ground floor room to make it easier taking the dog out. Our room was in one of the converted cottages which was ideal. Although the...

My partner Carol and I plus the two dogs really enjoyed our stay here. The room had good views of the Lake and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.
