Up for a sales meeting so the whole team together booking a number of rooms. Booked B&B but breakfast doesn't start until 8:30. Obviously not a hotel for business people. Bright green light in the room apparently for fire safety, strange I've not come across this in other places. Very noisy in a village of only a couple of hundred...

The hotel is set in a beautiful square in a really quiet setting. Bar is nice but I did not realise that evening meals were not served on Tuesday evenings - not sure which evenings meals are served. Breakfast is not served until 8.30 which is not good if you are an early starter. Bathroom deeply frustrating: very small and...

Thank you for staying with the priory hotel. Meals are served every day up to 5pm and evening meals are Thursday, Friday, Saturday as stated on the website and on all the booking engines that we use.Plenty of places in the village where you can get a meal. Hot breakfast is served from 8.30 but cereal, juices ect are available...

Comfortable room, great breakfast and friendly staff. Good, well stocked bar with plenty of locals calling in, this is always a good sign, particularly with so many other pubs within walking distance. We'll be back.

Came back home last Thursday from a fantastic three night break in Cartmel at the beautiful Priory Hotel. We stayed in Room One an Executive double room, well worth the money for a bit of pampering. Will be going back again and hopefully in the same room. Beautiful hotel decor lovely and very clean, very nice and helpful staff. Highly...

Is this a hotel with a bar or a pub with rooms? Actually it is an upmarket B and B with 6 rooms in an old hotel building . We had a well appointed large beamed room with a proper en-suite, modern, bathroom (separate drench shower and bath). Lots of reasons to come back-and such good value

We had a great weekend stay here. Our suite room was really comfortable and the staff were fantastic - esp Julie, the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. You're right between two Simon Rogan restaurants (one has 2 Michelins stars) but remember The Priory also has a Michelin standard chef. Great place to visit for foodies!

Small quaint hotel in the heart of the village. Lovely room with low ceilings but plenty of room to walk around. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast served hot but personally would have liked a little more on the plate. Would definitely stay again but only if the room rate was reduced as I felt it was a little expensive.

The priory hotel is right in the centre of a picture perfect village. We only stayed for one night as we had booked at a meal at L,Enclume. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the restaurant. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean, I have stayed in 5 star hotels...

I booked this hotel as an overnight stay as we had a reservation at nearby L'enclume. This hotel was ideal as 1 minute walk away. The hotel is nestled in the main village square and within a couple of steps of other pubs. We booked the executive double room which was gorgeous. Plenty of space, clean and tastefully decorated (room...

Booked 2 nights directly with them. Cost of £210 for B&B. A little expensive. Got the attic room with low sloping ceiling but modern fittings. Bed was comfortable. Bath could do with some TLC since some of the enamel covering was peeling off. Wifi was slow and intermittent but guessing this is due to the room being on the high...
