We enjoyed our stay here. Slightly dated rooms but great value and comfortable enough. Very friendly and helpful service. Lovely bathroom in our room, nice big bath and good shower. Cracking view from the hotel itself.

Spent three nights at Aynsome Manor and had a really lovely stay. There was no one thing that made this stay so nice, it was more that the whole thing just worked really well. Comfortable room, charming, friendly, helpful and efficient staff, really well organized, excellent food, beautiful location etc etc etc. Stayed in a room in the "Cottage" ie...

What a brilliant find! We booked this hotel as we were having lunch at L'enclume (I'd thoroughly recommend this ) and it's just a short walk away. The hotel is quite traditional, incredibly clean and handy for the village. Our room was a good size with everything we could need. There's a lovely lounge on the second floor with free...

All of the staff I encountered were just lovely and could not have been more helpful. Our room was large and spacious, very comfortable with tea & coffee, TV and en-suite. It was very clean throughout and made a great base for our Lake District adventures. The breakfast choice was varied and of a really high standard.

We have stayed all over the Lake District (most of the places in The Trip and others) and this is undoubtedly our favourite. The house is very elegant, the rooms large and the food delicious. With reference to the comments of others, we can go 24h without feeling the need to access the internet so the lack of Wifi is...

Aynsome Manor is the perfect base to enjoy Cartmel in the South Lakes, situated an easy twenty minute stroll from the centre of the village. The hotel is elegant and relaxing, and the staff are friendly, efficient and professional. Our room was large and beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed, high quality linens, and an impressive shower. We very much...

I stayed her one midweek night with my Nana when we took a whistle stop tour of the Southern Lakes. We were welcomed on arrival and showed to our lovely twin room. We then sat in the garden and enjoyed a drink in the afternoon sunshine. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, instead we went into Cartmel. When we...

We stayed here for one night whilst cycling the Bay Cycle Way. Reception were very helpful storing our bikes in their tool shed and showing us up to our room. The hotel seems to be in a bit of a time warp. The decor in our room reminded me of an upmarket care home, even had a sink in the...

Stayed two night at this family owned and run hotel on 16 and 17 August and could quite easily have stayed longer. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our room (12) to settle in. The room was larger than average, scrupulously clean with all the normal facilities included:- fully stocked refreshments tray, hairdryer etc with extra bedding and a...

Short stay for a few nights in August. Comfortable good sized room with views. Modern en-suite with bath and shower over. Heated towel rail ensured dry towels. Chris is very attentive and helpful without being overbearing. Chris was extremely helpful in adjusting the menu to cater for my wife's milk allergy including offering additional options to the main menu. Dining...
