We recently enjoyed a one night stay here, beautiful hotel and easy to get to from London via bus from Penrith rail Station. Scones on arrival and the restaurant steak meal was delicious. Waiter service is extremely good. We arrived via Keswick which is a Lovely town with great fish and chips, also a great town for cycling cafes and...

Dear ‘David C’ Thank you for your review, I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your short break with us, the public transport I find is very good around here. I’m unsure what the smell in the swimming pool was when you visited I have not smelt that before. We take tests throughout the day to ensure the temperature, chlorine...

We visited Lodore Falls through a recommendation from our son who has stayed there previously and said that it was a good hotel. We weren't disappointed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming and couldn't do enough for us, in reception, the bar areas, the spa and in the restaurant. The general decor in communal areas was good...

Very helpful staff from arrival to departure. But those working in the restaurant were exceptional. They were very helpful and attentive to my young, teething, overtired and grumpy son. The food was also special. The location spectacular and at 7.30am the mist over the lake was gorgeous. Right outside we could catch a tour of the lake and Keswick is...

We stayed at this hotel on a recent hiking trip to the Lake County. Our room was lovely, service was fully attentive and the food was fine. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and a lunch for the trail. I discovered that English waffles are quite different from American ones! Everything was very comfortable!

The Ladore Falls Hotel staff were so attentive and helpful even helping a lactose intolerant member of our group of six have chocolate brownies with their afternoon tea. Food was fantastic and a fresh menu each day .... what a pleasure. Derwent Water was stunning in beautiful sunshine and walking in the area was a joy. With a jetty to...

We had a two night stay which was just not long enough. Staff were extremely attentive. Food was excellent and the room we booked overlooking the lake was all you could ask for. Definitely recommend and will hopefully go back.

Totally blown away by the setting, service and professionalism of Jeanette and the staff at Lodore Falls. Nothing was too much trouble. Here for a wedding and can honestly say it was the best we have ever been to. The gardens are beautiful, the food was perfect and Jeanette was the best hostess! Highly recommended.
