This was our first visit to the Swan. We booked a table, which was ideal because it was very busy. The staff are very welcoming and the ambiance is great. We where shown straight to our table. The table was very well set. Comfy seats all round. Our drinks order was taken straight away and the drinks arrived very quickly....

Booked in here as we had plans with friends locally. A prompt check in and we headed out. The room was a little small but beds very comfortable. Bathroom nice. Breakfast was good with nice waiting on staff. The curtain pole was way too low allowing in far too much light with a grade a hangover!!

First off, lovely bar/pub downstairs with friendly staff! Checked into room to find we had been upgraded from one of the smaller double rooms to a large family room. Rooms are beautiful, comfiest beds I've experienced. All room essentials there such as tea/coffee, hair dryer etc with a few added extras such as bath salts! Flat screen tv mounted onto...

When the older woman, who you'd expect to be a better server arrived, she didn't even make eye contact with my partner during the making of the order....

Had a short but wonderful stay at the Swan. On arrival car park full but managed to squeeze into a space.....warm welcome at reception. Room was a 4 Poster and well appointed. Central heating was noisy but not obtrusive. Breakfast service was very good as was the food. Very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if opportunity...

We only visited for a meal as we live fairly locally. We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked in, service was great, food very good and atmosphere very pleasant. We will defiantly return in the near future.

Booked in the afternoon to stay in hotel same night to explore Tarporley village....disappointed to stay in separate outbuilding at rear of hotel rather than main building. This wasn't clear upon booking online, directly with hotel. Described as family room for 4. Room in need of updating - creaky floor boards. The quilt was the thickest I have ever experienced...

I didn't really enjoy our stay. The reasons for this are as follows: -The shower going hot and cold -The mattress was un comfortable -The toilet wouldn't flush properly -There was a terrible vibrating/banging noise when someone else flushed their toilet -the breakfast was very poor, one slice of bacon, 1 sausage and the other usual bits. The breakfast was...
