Lovely two night stay with excellent customer service. Room double large with modern bathroom. Lovely views and breakfast was a real treat. I couldn't fault the service especially as I left my work iPad in the room - receptionist couldn't do enough for me and returned first class the following day. We will Definately be back!

Booked a 1 night stay here, but due to a last minute change of plan needed to change my room from a single to twin, a quick phone call sorted this out without any fuss. We saw very little signage to the hotel on route, which could prove a problem, although the sat. nav. co-ordinates were spot on. On arrival...

Stayed here for one night and was super happy. The hotel decor looks tired but so what. The bed was comfy and the shower worked. The food at dinner was nice and the breakfast is worth the stay. Its a welcome break from the busy world and worth seeing. Also very reasonable less than 100 pounds for dinner bed and...

Best afternoon tea ever....sandwiches freshly made...rare roast beef, smoked salmon and cream cheese, home cooked ham, cheese and tomato, egg and cress. Followed by warm scones, cream and separate pots of strawberry jam together with selection of cakes and pasteries including macarons. Too full to do justice to all the cakes so supplied 'doggy bags' for leftovers. Seated in lounge...

Amazing location and amazing food and drink on offer in a very relaxed surrounding and all at very reasonable prices. Been going here for nearly 3 years now since we got married here for birthdays or mothers day and sometimes just because. Always welcoming and now with our son he is free to be running around the grounds which makes...

We stayed here for one night only. The Hotel is somewhat remote but beautifully set in the countryside and provides a quiet retreat from the world.. The hotel provides and excellent area for meeting and mingling. The Dining area is wonderful. Lovely Country House Hotel full of character and charm. The staff were superb and the rooms large but could have been better appointed but this was forgiven due to the charm. Breakfast was without doubt the best Hotel breakfast I have had in a long time, quality ingredients perfectly cooked and served . Highly recommended if you prefer a quality...

Stunning hotel in a beautiful, peaceful location. Lovely traditional rooms...we even had 2 x double beds in ours with a fantastic view of the Cheshire countryside from the back of the hotel, it is traditional so don't expect modern...it all keeps to the charm of the place. Lovely walks close by. Full of history. Attentive staff who add that personal...

Lovely place for a wedding. Fantastic grounds, beautiful hall and great service. The staff went out of their way to help us particularly the wonderful barman Drew. Just make sure you book your taxi in advance because they are few and far between late at night in Cheshire. Thanks for a great day and evening.

I stayed here with my son the night before a Land Rover driving day nearby. From pulling up outside the impressive frontage, to the lovely welcome inside, we knew it was going to be a great stay. Lovely spacious room with an excellently appointed bathroom, dinner was excellent with a faultless Chateaubriand. After a comfortable sleep we headed down early...
