Booked in for a Friday night, plenty of parking, the entrance is via the pub you cant access through the side door near the car park until you've got your key fob. Felt secure you go through 2 security locked doors between the pub and the rooms which open with the key fob. Room had a double and a sofa...

Very handy for the M6, this is a quiet and comfortable hotel with a pleasant bar and good and reasonably priced restaurant. There is ample parking and the staff are helpful and friendly. I would highly recommended this hotel for business and leisure travel.

Spent two nights here over Christmas. Second day went for breakfast which was served in bar the day before and no staff around anywhere. No sign of breakfast, e.g. cereals etc so went back to room in outside block and packed. Went back to drop key off staff now on duty, I was asked if I wanted breakfast I refused...

Well I say two halves, but I perhaps four quarters. Arrival was a bit odd. I'd never been, so as I came in , saw the car park and pulled in. I was a bit disconcerted about the rotten window frames on that part of the building I parked against though. What really got me at that point was trying...

Today we decided to take the mother in law out for lunch (we have been going to this establishment for 30 plus years). After ordering drinks I asked for a tab as we were going to order food for lunch, then to my surprise the young man asked for a swipe of our payment card which has never ever been...

Lovely little old pub with modern accommodation attached. Nice stay here this week, the staff all seem friendly and the food is delicious. Room is clean to a high standard and cleaned every day to the same standard with fresh towels. I will admit that I got one of the 'short straw' rooms, I'm on the ground floor next to...

We booked a room, so we could visit our daughter at Crewe uni. Also my partners birthday so we were looking forward to a night away as a treat! BIG MISTAKE! ! When we arrived, as I asked about wifi, I had a few emails to sort before we went out. We were assured that the wifi worked all over...

Very attractive Inn, well presented with a great pub attached! Room very well appointed and comfortable - although bed fairly soft. However sound proofing between the rooms not so good - constant bathroom fans being turned turned off and on during the night and could even hear the snoring from the room next door!

Have just come home after one night stay, what a wonderful place! Booked as a gift experience for my birthday. Our room was in the annexe building, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated , warm and inviting. The bed was so comfortable. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant which was faultless, lovely service and great value. Enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast,...

I booked this hotel as we were travelling north and wanted a stopover to break the journey. The cleanliness, price, staff food and the room were all exceptional. I cannot tell you how amazed I was. He room was large, spotless, plenty of hot water and overall you will not find better. I paid a few pounds more for the...
