An historic building located in the beautiful village of Prestbury, let down by the current and previous owners. I have just spent 5 nights in Room 2 located in the original part of the building. The room is tired with a mish mash of fittings not at all sympathetic to the age of the building. The beds were comfortable enough...

Dear MaccSLDM, Thank you for your comments. We have many different types of rooms in the hotel, both contemporary and traditional. Your room was located in the original side of the hotel which dates back to 1626 which means that whilst we never normally have any water pressure issues, it can be variable. Normally we get such great feedback from...

We really enjoyed our two night stay at The Bridge. The room was a decent size, plenty of storage, clean enough and not looking too 'tired'. The River Bollin flowed just below the window but that didn't bother us even with the window open. The public areas are comfortable with 'olde worlde' charm. Nice small restaurant serving good food with...

Went over the bank holiday weekend after buying a deal on living social. Lovely place, lovely village, room was cozy and was alongside a small river which gave a great view for a romantic weekend. Breakfast was also top notch, would go again.

Food was excellent. The staff were kind and considerate and went the extra mile to be accommodating. We wanted a quiet part of the restaurant and the menu amending. Nothing was too much trouble especially from the young lady Alice who I think is the events coordinator.

Just brilliant. Just as ever. The best silver service in the area. Really gives you a feeling of being important to them.Very reasonably priced and the quality of the food is as high as ever. There are some changes, but, they all are in keeping with the history.

We stayed there one night to attend a Jonathan Antoine concert at Gawsworth Hall. I've probably never encountered a better hotel staff; they were professional, but not stuffy or overbearing. Additionally, they were courteous; efficient; helpful and accomodating. The only downside, and not something you would always encounter, was our room opened onto a patio and garden which on our...
