My first visit but will not be my last.Four of us enjoyed an excellent lunch on Sunday in very comfortable surroundings.Three opted for the roast beef and one for the slow cooked belly pork all accompanied with lovely vegatables and we all enjoyed.
Had a very pleasant stay , arrived early evening , room was spacious and clean . Comfy bed. shower needed some attention but otherwise fine. Good place to use as a base . Lovely breakfast. Great location
Booked the room last minute for an overnight stay. The only room available was the superior with a double bed for which I paid £110.
Staff were friendly on arrival. Security of the room was worrying as the main door was left open for anyone...More
Really wasn’t sure what to order as it all seemed fairly standard pub food on the menu but we were wrong . Probably the best pie I have eaten, presentation was fabulous . Great setting in the courtyard . Will be back soon.
We really like The Cat, it is such a beautiful building, quirky yet modern at the same time.
