We stayed at the Railwal Hotel Nantwich, a last minute booking and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised, good for live music and extremely clean and comfortable including friendly staff. Ideally situated a two minute walk into the picturesque Nantwich centre. The room was exceptionallyl good with ensuite. The full English Breakfast was the best I have ever had...

Great little music venue, reasonably priced accommodation, and an excellent breakfast. Would recommend looking in when there is music on and better still stay the night. Ideal for a cheap stay in Nantwich which is a lovely little town with some good pubs

Jane and nigel the owners and all the staff were very friendly and made us welcome. Excellent atmosphere, great entertainment with the bands. Great location in Nantwich or to visit surrounding areas . Lovely breakfast too!! Will definitely be back !!!

Popped in to try the entertainment and have a bite to eat. Entertainment was great but food needed a little attention to detail, sort of thrown on plate, presentation is a winner all the time. Would still encourage people to give it a go though.

Following the funeral of a family member we invited everyone back to the Railway hotel for refreshments. Nigel and Jane were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet they provided was really delicious and plentiful. Really recommended for a quality venue with great value for money.

We stayed over a weekend and were given the two rooms outside at the rear of the pub. Both rooms were excellent, clean and tidy, and one in particular had a very quirky layout but again, in a good way. If you stay there, you'll know what I mean! There was live music both nights, but was finished by half...

Great place for a no frills stay during the jazz festival. Good music all weekend. Good service and cheap drinks. what more can you want. Definitely a first point of call first from the train into town.

Stayed at the Railway again over the Easter weekend for the "Keep music live" event. What can I say, only it was superb, wall to wall music both inside and in the big marquee they put up outside. Really well run by Nigel, Jane and all their staff, we had a ball, also must mention a great breakfast, nice clean...

Ange and Kev went to see the band beardsmith with our friend Judith. It's our first time in the place and we were quite impressed. The band were excellent, the railway has a lot of musical type items on the walls guitars, pictures etc. the staff are very good. We would certainly go again. The stage is a bit on...

they do a lot for live music, entertainment 3 or 4 nights per week, the building is a little dated and located on a busy roundabout. Only limited parking at rear but you're next to Aldi and Morrison's supermatrkets so could park there ? We arrived just after 9, shame we needed to wait until almost 9:40 for the band...

“Choose a room at the rear of the premises if staying at the weekend due to the live music in the bar below. It wont be as loud. Some of the double rooms have en-suite. And there are two external extensions available if you really want to avoid the music.”
