Visited with friends, the beer is very well kept and to be recommended- the food was OK, portions on the large to huge side, and the staff very friendly. So what's not to like Worth a visit for the beer alone,

The foid was half decent but the place itself was a bit outdated, the staff was pleasent, the toilets were clean the timing was just right to serve the courses but what fir what you pay you would expect somewhere with a bit more class and atmosphere. In all fairness a three and a half stars from me and my...

Very tasty food. Great little find out in the sticks. Would recommend to others. Plenty to choose from on the menu. I am vegetarian and I had the choice of pizza, pasta or a veggie burger. Staff very welcoming. Slightly upmarket pub grub! Definitely go again :-)

Stopped by to eat and was amazed at the quality and standard of food. In my opinion this pub needs a 'Star' of some sort. Hot, filling, scrumptious & oh so tasty. I had the lamb crumble, never heard of it before, but was not dissapointed. Followed by a knickerbocker glory to die for! Our waitress was friendly, helpful &...

Good: The staff were friendly and tried their best (within the limitations of the facility). The breakfast was excellent. Bad: We paid the most for this hotel on our trip around central UK and got the least – we estimate it should be around £50 not £80 per night! The WiFi was very weak and kept dropping out in the...
