We have just enjoyed three nights at Taplow House. The staff were extremely welcoming, the rooms were excellent and the dinner was good. A special thank you to Micheal for his excellent service both at dinner and in the bar.

Large old country house is now an AA 4 star hotel. Room 11 is spacious, very well appointed and comfy. Bathroom has a great old style white suite and a shower that has a huge powerful flow if required. Everything in this room is quality and there is a large ( at least 42") flat screen TV on the wall....

We booked a one night stay on a recent Sunday and got an excellent deal. On arrival we were upgraded to a very large room overlooking the front of the hotel and the extensive lawns. The hotel was very quiet and we decided not to have dinner there, partly because there was little atmosphere and partly because the vegetarian choice...

Thank you for your review on your recent stay at Taplow House. In the main all good but I do have to disagree with you on the breakfast items available – a full continental with fruits, nuts, pastries, cheeses, selection of breads, jams and preserves, fruit juices, yogurts, all followed by an unlimited full- English and unlimited Newby’s of London...

Me and my partner wanted to stay somewhere in Bucks as wanted to visit Cliveden which is really nearby and Waddesdon manor so we decided to stay at the Taplow House Hotel on a recommendation. We had a fantastic room overlooking the grounds with a huge bay window allowing the late summer sun to flood in. The room had a...

We recently enjoyed a fabulous stay over at Taplow House – a grand looking hotel set in beautifully manicured gardens and with some of the oldest trees I have ever seen! Our welcome was warm and genuine and our room “Orkney” was stunning – large, beautifully decorated, overlooking the gardens and with the BEST bath and shower! The attention to...

What a fabulous review on your visit to Taplow! May I say it was a pleasure meeting you personally and a delight to ensure your stay was memorable? Our afternoon teas are a huge success and, as you mention, all our preserves and butter are homemade, as are the freshly baked scones and other delicious treats. Orkney is a beautiful...

Know Taplow house since the early 90's The hotel has kept its charm and level of proficiency, stayed in the James1st suite that was very comfortable and well insulated from the wedding disco. The room was great value for money, wonderful base to visit the local great houses.
