I was fortunate enough to be treated to an overnight stay at the hotel on the 13th February. I had been looking forward to the trip for a long time but prior to going for some reason I decided to check the reviews on Trip Advisor and to be honest was a little alarmed by some of

What an incredible place set in the most magnificent surrounds of natural beauty. Personable staff and delicious afternoon tea in the Grade 1 historic building with floor to ceiling tapestries, oil paintings and the wonderful feel of quintessential aristocratic country life.

Not sure , but why use a treadmill when you can take the walk down to the Thames , 170 steps down and the same back up. The gardens are the best thing about the hotel anyway.
