I stay at the Ethorpe on a regular basis for business and find the hotel to be of a high standard, being the perfect location for access to London / Heathrow and the M25. Rooms are always spotless and the bar / restaurant offers a great variety. Cheryl on front desk / reception is an asset to the hotel and Chef&Brewer...

A very attractive and friendly period hotel, providing excellent accommodation and excellent fare. Staff were brilliant and very attentive. Thank you for everything. Most impressed! Rooms are well provided for, with all necessary facilities. Loads of parking for guests and very close to all Gerrards Cross high street.

We expected more based on the hotel's website. We got a room facing the beer garden. The shouting was a bit disturbing, but fortunately it stopped at about 23.00. We paid 100 pounds for a night excluding breakfast. A complimentary breakfast would have put me in a better mood, but the room was clean and there were extra pillows. That...

Needed a hotel for one night for a family catch up Nice looking hotel form the outside " Nice neighbourhood", but the phrase,"all fur coat and no knickers ",came to mind . No lifts and no offer of help with our bags .The bannister had a piece of card board taped to it as it had lost a spindle how...

The Ethorpe Hotel is not what I expected from a chain hotel (it is part of the Chef and Brewer chain). The room was better than in a budget hotel, the building's age gave it an air of pleasant quirkiness - and the price was no more expensive with the additional benefit of a location right within Gerrards Cross itself...

Was visiting wembly and decided to stay at this hotel again.Stayed for work and also for pleasure more than five times and it has always been great place to stay. Recieved a 25% discount on food and decided to eat at the hotel and was not disappointed at all. The rooms are lovely and well worth the money.Short journey to...

This is a nice hotel close to London for reasonable prices. The Gerard's Cross train station is 200 meters away from the hotel so you can walk up there and travel to downtown London. Rooms are clean. They have a nice bar and very helpful staff. I certainly will return.

We had a two night stay at the hotel and also ate in the restaurant on the first evening. Whilst the reception staff and those working in the bar and restaurant were extremely pleasant and helpful, the chaps in the breakfast room were the complete opposite. It seemed to operate almost like a gulag! Whilst perusing the sparse offerings for...

We went for a Saturday lunch with our two very little kids and my brother in law and partner. The staff were super friendly and accommodating of the sleeping kids. They found us a really good table for our needs. The food was really tasty and although we didn't sit in it for long, I also noticed that the bar...

I booked a room here at short notice to attend an event at Pinewood Studios. Ideally situated if you need to get into London (and just around the corner from the train station). Friendly staff on arrival, provided us with all the information we needed. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but nothing fancy - I was more than happy with...
