Have stayed here before so knew what to expect basic room, relatively clean attached to a hungry horse pub not the best food in the world but large portions of chain pub food at a reasonable price. Rooms quickly get booked out at the price by a lot of tradesmen working that way. Great cheap place to stay if all...

Unusually I didn't read trip advisor before booking but I think 2/5 is fair for our room. The management appear to read reviews and act on them - we saw a mattress put out for collection and our pillows and mattress were clean under the nice fresh bedding. Plus the reception staff on checkin were nice - yes the phone...

DO NOT STAY HERE. This place needs to be closed down , a complete refurb is required. Stained wet carpets , dust and cobwebs , mattress covered from top to bottom is disgusting stains. Reception filthy. Hallways when walking to the room with dirty mattress in hallway. Windows and bathroom covered in black mould. Paid for breakfast included in the...

Luckily we were only staying a few hours as we had a early flight. The room had an overpowering smell of damp and must. The curtains were hanging off the rail, and there was only one very flat pillow each. The only saving grace was that the bedding looked fresh and clean.

We stayed here last night after visiting family. We read many reviews of how bad this place is. Let me put your minds at rest. On arrival we went into the bar where we were greeted by a friendly young girl who told us where to go to sign into reception. She greeted us there and told us the info...

Appalling Place with absolutely NO redeeming features. Health and Safety Nightmare, Noisy with No cleaning regime. I cannot think of a worse place to stay, Plumbing was against UK regulations with hot water pipes running beneath cold (poisoning hazard) Plug points greatly overloaded in public areas (fire Hazard) Dirty and dusty all over Attention to any sort of cleanliness at...

This place is a contractors hotel, you would not take the wife here, On entering the building there is a musky damp smell that you can smell through out the building, the room I stayed in was 36 , it looked out over a yard behind the kitchen. it was very noisy , I think it was where staff went...

Unfortunately I read the reviews after booking. I will never make this mistake again! Stayed from Saturday to Sunday last weekend. We were greeted by a surly gentleman sitting in his coat on reception who made us feel really unwelcome. My husband and I had a double room and our 3 teenage children had the family room next door. Our...

this hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in.The smell in the reception area should have been enough to let us know what we were in for. We had booked 3 rooms for a family stay of just 1 night (thank goodness it wasn't any longer). Here goes....the rooms smelled of damp, the net curtains were black with mould,...

I was absolutely dreading my stay after reading some of the reviews whilst travelling to this place but perfectly reasonable for the price & at such sort notice. Was a bit scruffy, run down & just generally in need of a good clean. Far too much unnecessary furniture in such a small room. Being there for a business conference & also...
