Had a Great time at a weekend AMC training- Even though I live and frequent the trails on the other side of Cardigan Mountain, I don't get over to the Alexandria side as much as I like- Now I'll be sure to take that extra trip! Tons of great trails and an awesome lodge- Very clean with good food and...

I had a great weekend at the Cardigan Lodge for an AMC-organized wilderness first aid course, the third time I've been here. There are beautiful hikes up to Mt. Cardigan and Firescrew, and to nearby Welton Falls. The lodge has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere inside and out, with the deck, bonfire ring, and pond. The staff and Tom's cooking...

I was recently at AMC for a SOLO Wilderness First Aid course. The staff at the lodge went above and beyond their duties to make sure that all of us were happy and comfortable. The food was delicious and the bonfire on Saturday night was extra special. I was also able to hike to the waterfall, which was spectacular. I...

Great place to stay and lots of friendly people. Food is great before and after the hiking. They also have a store for gear and stuff that will come in handy if you forgot to pack something. Fun place!

I stayed here with a group of hikers from the Boston Chapter of the AMC. I can't say enough about this place. Our first night we were greeted by management, Tom and Peter who provided us with all the necessary information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They could not have been more accommodating by making each of us...

Stayed here with AMC Boston Chapter hikers over the weekend. Food: Great great great food. Chef Tom is the best. After a great hike everyday I always wish I would have lost a pound or two - but am sure even though I did some long hikes this time, I still would have gained weight - thanks to amazing food....

The staff are warm, friendly, accommodating, and extremely competent. The lodge is a uniquely New England space with "ancient" wood beams for a ceiling and rocking chairs in front of the roaring fire. Expect hearty, delicious meals to fuel you for a day spent outside. Most rooms have bunks which are are adequate (upper bunks on the third floor have...

I have stayed here with AMC, for a long weekend 01/22-24. Location is great, trails are right out the door. Lodge staff are exceptionally good at what they do and very helpful. We had two breakfasts and dinner with them and our group had various dietary restrictions and allergies. They handled it all with great attention to detail. They cooked...

I have spent several weekends at Cardigan Lodge over the last few years, in both spring and winter. Every time, it is fantastic. There are a few private rooms, but otherwise you have a bunk in a small shared room (4 to 5 bunks per room). There is not a lot of space in the room, but thats not what...
