We stayed at the CRT the week of June 5th and had such a wonderful trip!! Ill start out with our transfer- We booked USA transfers prior to our vacation. It was very easy!! They were waiting for us when we walked outside the airport (don’t be fooled by the people who grab you in the airport, they only want... More

OK, let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. Weather - not their fault but not great. Only suggestion I would have made is instead of having the guests carry loungers up to the pool from what was left of the beach, the hotel could have repositioned them. The water was up to the lifeguard station some days.... More

As other recent reviews state, this was a pretty bad weather week. This probably led to the luke warm feelings lingering after returning from our recent trip to CRT. Now, I know you can't blame the resort for the weather, but when you have to call the day after arrival because the AC is not getting the room sufficiently cool... More

My boyfriend and I chose this resort after it was recommended to us by my aunt. It is an adult only resort, the first one we've been too, and it is the best! Having no children - or any child related things there was a big plus. They really go the extra mile to make the resort as comfortable as... More

Just got back from 4 nights at the CRT, 6/24/10- 6/28/10. Traveled with my husband, and 3 other couples. We had a blast, despite the horrible weather! It was rainy, cloudy, or windy the entire time! We didn’t really see the sun until our ride back to the airport. I would not return back to this resort though. I think... More

We stayed there for 10 days over Memorial Day weekend. We have traveled to Riviera Maya and Cancun and stayed at the Excellence Riviera Maya, Grand Palladium, El Dorado Royale, GR Solaris and Royal Solaris. Take the collectivo (stop is right outside the resort and only a couple pesos) down to Akumal bay and snorkel with the turtles. So awesome,... More

As an avid Mexico vacationer, I am always amused when people from the states complain about lizards in the rooms, bugs, foreign food, non-English speaking staff, etc. Maybe they should stay in an American-owned Cancun resort and leave the remote jungle locations to the more adventuresome travelers. This was our 10th trip to Mexico and our first stay at an... More

My husband and I stayed at the CRT from June 1 - June 8. We were very excited for our trip as my husband will be starting an MBA program in the fall and he will not have much time off for vacations over the next 3 years. We did a lot of research before we left and felt like... More

The good: We had great weather for the whole week. The beach is beautiful. The service is excellent. We liked the long walks to the beach from our room, especially at night. The trail is lit up and music is piped in, which makes it feel "zenish" like. The average: The room we stayed in was ok but needs an... More
