The folks who work at La Aurora couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. They even directed me to a nearby laundry that was amazingly inexpensive and efficient. Clean rooms, nice bathrooms, plenty of towels and a lovely courtyard area made this a comfortable visit. Conveniently located within walking distance of nearly everything you could want.

The first thing you notice about the hotel is how beautiful it is, a colonial building centred around a lovely pool courtyard that looks wonderful at night. The rooms are nice, the air-conditioning works, the shower is powerful and the location is very central. The staff were very nice. Breakfast isn't that special but does the job, you could always...

Conveniently located, just a block or so from the main square this small pretty hotel in a colonial building offers what it promises. With pool and rooftoppools, but no complimentary breakfast. Pricewise still a good deal though. Kind staff. We were able to check in hours before check in time.

Great little hotel in the centre of Valladolid with a large pool and 2 rooftop jacuzzis overlooking the entire city. Comfy rooms with a/c, friendly english speaking staff... Excellent value for money!

This hotel was very pleasant with rooms built around a swimming pool. The wifi is better towards the front of the hotel and we had to leave our room to use it. All in all, as part of a two month trip to central America, I would rate this hotel as 'pleasant', nothing special. And I thought it was a...

This hotel reminded me of a Moroccan riad, which was nice. Our room was right next to the pool and it was a nice, large and traditional. There is a nice roof terrace with plunge pools and seating areas. Check out is at 13:00 which is really great if you want to go on a half day trip and not...

The location was excellent - secure parking a plus - staff friendly and eager to help. Room we chose was a larger room, and it was... but the fridge did not work and it was located under the 2 spa tubs on the roof...no noise just that the room had a musty smell, probably from water leaching thru the walls....

This is a charming hotel in a great location, but we feel that it could use a little more attention to detail. There were no towels in our room when we arrived, and we heard others complaining about reserving a room with a fridge but they didn't have one. Our room had 2 double beds which made it very tight...

Coming in from Holbox, we arrived at what we thought was 1:30pm and forgetting about the time difference it was actually only 12:30pm. Check in is at 3pm and they will store your luggage for you, however we did see several guests check in over the 4 nights we were there, wait way past the check in time as the...

We spend 3 nights at the Aurora. This hotel was very convenient. It's not far from the socalo and near a lot of goods restaurants. It's a good hotel if you want something not very expensive and near the cenotes and ADO bus station. Not so good : We ran out of hot water very quickly.
