I stayed at the Lodge because we were going to visit several nearby archeological sites, I have to say that it looks like the best option because is next to the Uxmal museum and it's comfortable, the service is good. What I didn't like it's the food, it''s good and tasty, but the problem is the variety, after 3 or...

This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean and quiet. The customer service staff is very friendly and the cleaning crew is as well. They keep the place very well maintained. Being almost in the parking lot of the Uxmal Ruins is a plus and a minus. Obvious plus: walk to the ruins. Minus: lots of bus traffic and noise. I...

We just spent three wonderful nights at the Royal Mayan Bungalows in Uxmal. We were treated like royalty by everyone we met. Hippolito, the attentive gentleman at reception, learned that we are vegetarian and couldn't find much on their menu to eat. He introduced us to William, the restaurant manager, and together with Pedro, Bersain (the general manager), Christian, and...

The service was amazing, the grounds clean and kept well, the pool was on the cool side (it was February and all pools are not heated so they are a bit cool this time of year), room was nice, spacious bathroom, but the reason to stay here is that it is literally 30 feet from the entrance to Uxmal ruins...

This hotel is located at an amazing ancient site in beautiful lush gardens. The room was very good, though not as plush as its sister hotel at Chichen Itza. The room we had on the ground floor closest to the pool and restaurant didn't have a net. There was an article I read about 9 months previously in which the...

Thanks for your visit and your magnificent comments! Our upper rooms (2nd. level) where fitted with nets mostly because of the grass roof, as I mentioned in previous comments you read. We look forward to being your hosts again. Hasta la vista !

We initially chose the hotel due to its' location by the entrance to the Uxmal site. The hotel rooms and facilities were very nice, but what made the hotel were the staff and the food in the restaurant. Really can't understand why someone is complaining about being offered Mexican only dishes... Tacos can be found in any high street! Once...

We stayed here for two nights on our tour of the Yucatan. The hotel is a pleasant modern hotel with good facilities and layout, perfectly located across from the gates to the site. All the staff were friendly and helpful, although most with limited English. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms, including baths. Unfortunately, the hotel was very poorly...

The hotel is ideally located if you are looking for a peaceful quiet and charming place, at the foot of the Maya site. We had a very warm welcome by the staff, rooms are big and well equipped, Wifi worked perfectly. We experienced a typical maya breakfast thanks to Luis, amazing staff member. And the food at the restaurant was...

The lodge is located directly across the street from the ruins. It couldn't be any more convenient. We were able to enter shortly after they opened. We arrived from the cold midwest USA ten days after Christmas. The holiday crowds were gone, the sky was blue and temperatures warm. The site with palm trees, thatched roofs, lovely curving pools, and the sounds of birds was like a respite in paradise. The informal, fast check-in process was welcoming and set the hospitable tone for our three-night stay....
