We stayed at The Lodge at the very end of September, having been upgraded from The Hacienda Hotel on our Thomson Holidays "Yucatan Explorer". What a great surprise this was for us. Our room was next to the pool, opposite the bar/restaurant and was very spacious and comfortable. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much...

...And we'd love it if you came back soon! Thanks for a great, thorough review of your experience while with us. On your next visit, we have great new elements to enrich your visit. Our expanded plantation and our new neighbor, the Cacao Museum, honoring the Maya for having given chocolate to the world. Come back and enjoy !

We were upgraded from the Hacineda Uxmal into this wonderful accommodation. The reception/check-in is under a cute palapa. We walked a stone path, past a pool toward our room. Some accommodations had hammocks in the halfway. We had a large, clean, modern, stylish room with a soaring thatch roof. Bed was comfortable, linens were nice and it sat under a...

The Location of the Hotel right next to the Uxmal archeological site makes it the perfect place to stay at when visiting the site. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Bathrooms are a bit dated but clean and spacious as well. In front of the rooms, guests can relax on the patio, sitting in rocking chairs and enjoy the...

Just like the Mayaland resort at Chichen Itza this resort is exceptional. The rooms are worth the money, the staff is friendly and helpful and there are multiple swimming pools for your enjoyment. I've become a big fan of all the Mayaland hotels and tours after visiting this lodge and the one at Chichen Itza.

We visited the Lodge at Uxmal during a period of heavy rainstorms, so we were probably seeing the Hotel at its worst. As it is a lodge there is no lobby / bar area, and in between our visits and activities we needed to kill time, either in our room or on our balcony. The luxury room with lounge was...

We are all very sorry that the rain ruined your perception of our Lodge and its surroundings. No there is nothing wrong with daylight. WE LOVE IT ! And love how it plays with every aspect of tour design, the wide doors that open to our very large terraces with hammocks, hand made hardwood rocking chairs and the beautiful colors...

We stayed for 4 nights in early October, as part of a Mayaland tour. We were upgraded to the Lodge from the Hacienda and were delighted. This is a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay at Uxmal. Wonderful location, just outside the site entrance, so we were able to visit early in the morning before the crowds arrived....

Coming from New Orleans your comments are specially meaningful. I'll share with you why: Tulane University of New Orleans has done so much for the study and consolidation of the Mayan Temples in Uxmal, for over a century, that what you experience while with us is very much a part of those efforts.
