Last week of December 2014. Perfect place to rest and enjoy a wonderful time for relaxing and get away of our busy lives. Rooms beautiful, clean and very comfortable. No crowded at all, the entire crew running the hotel a strong A+. They really understand the 'customer care'. Two places for improvement, a need of internet access on the guest...

Very Mexican hacienda type hotel, super friendly, comfortable at with a good quality-price. It's only 5 minutes from the Uxmal ruins, and probably calmer than the sister hotel (of higher prices) located just in front of the ruins' entrance. The swimming pool helps after a hot morning at the ruins. Rooms are spacious and comfy, with bathrooms definitely in need...

We stayed here because of the property's proximity to the ruins at Uxmal. The hotel was clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. There was a large, boisterous French tour group the night we were there and I imagine during the high season that might also be some pretty large groups. Still, we would probably stay here again.

Thanks for visiting Uxmal through the experience of our beautiful, historic Hacienda. Hasta la vista!

Quiet, dignified and meticulously run, Hacienda Uxmal was once again a stirring experience when I returned in January 2015. You can feel the history, and I mean that two ways: the spectacular and relatively uncrowded (compared to Chichen Itza and even Coba) Uxmal archeological site about 10 minutes' walk away (best visited by joining a tour with one of the...

Her Majesty The Queen stayed here in 1975 and they have kept the suite virtually untouched with lots of photos and were very proud to show us round!! We had a huge room in a very quiet lower location with a Superking bed and double jacuzzi!! Beautiful stained glass windows in the bathroom and all along the corridors plus stained...

When we arrived the Hacienda Uxmal offered to "upgrade" us to the Uxmal Lodge but after looking at the Hacienda rooms facing the pool off a quiet veranda with a beamed ceiling and comparing the rooms at the Lodge (owned by same company) I decided to stay at the Hacienda where the rooms were larger and the architecture appealing. I...

Thanks for your visit and your nice comments on our facilities and service. As a New Yorker, I should share with you that New York has played an important role in the Hacienda's rich history. This is a lovely hotel which is walking distance from the Uxmal ruins. It has a nice pool and outdoor table seating, as well as rocking chairs and tables in the common hallways in front of each room. Many dignitaries have stayed here over the years, and information about their visits to the area is detailed in pictures/articles around the...

Thanks for your visit and you nice comments. Our walls are .20 Cm (8 inch) thick, which is above the standard, insulated. In some of our rooms the thickness is such (double that) that wifi signal can not get through ! The issue is not on the thickness of the wall. It is on the total quietness (and we are...

Luscious green, large property with Mayan ruins on their territory, very spacious room with nice view and large windows, with few horses if you want to ride, a lovely pool, lovely & helping staff, and a plethora of now passed-away royalties & stars who stayed here once upon a time!!
