Part-time residents, so we have the time and inclination to find little gems like this one. This review covers breakfast only, BTW. NOT on the Malecon (main walkway), so on a truly hot day, might be too lacking in breeze to be comfortable for some. Super friendly service, but a basic knowledge of Spanish would be advisable. Excellent, excellent, fresh...

We spent three nights at this hotel last week. We would give a higher rating, but two inexcusable things happened: 1- Two not so young ladies played blaring techno music and screamed all afternoon. We went to the front desk, but the man in charge just lacked the courage to do anything about it. Fortunately the two women left to...

Good afternoon It s new for us that. I m sorry we have security cams and different signs in the hotel with many rules, some of its says about the noise in the hotel. And it s very strange that someone opened the door of your room during the night. I checked it and I didnt have any results of...

Good central position for this small hotel (only a few rooms) in mahahual center. Very helpful and super smiling staff. Clean and tidy. Rooms are re made everyday. 30 seconds to the beach. Cute cat waiting for you at the reception. Super Recommended. Everything is close by.

First, Mahahual is attractive because it is a small town with a nice beach that few years ago didn't have anything. Posada Pachamana is located just across the beach and it's a small, but clean and comfortable place to stay while you spend your time in the water activities. Breakfast was very tasty and staff always helpful.

Do not unterstand their good Rating....Must be a Scham , Never experienced a Horrorfilm Rom like that, no Tablet , no chair , 2 beds squeezed in a room.....nightmare. This is a beach town, you don't even have space to hang a wet towel , we where in absolute shock about the ratings ....and would like tripadvisor to look into...

Good afternoon mrs Sabine. From Hollywood, California, the city of the movies, , the city of the appearances, the city of the nothing. I m waiting for you in these weeks. I was in Mahahual in 2001 a great place without nothing , not electricity, not Tv, not a lot of ridiculous modern comfort. Just peace and stars lighting and...

I had breackfast at the french cafe "La Tartalete" at Pachamama and was the best breackfast I had in all my trip. Coffee was super tasty, the omelet was delicious but the best part of the breackfast was the service. Tania was the best waitress we had in our 5 days trip. She was super attentive, friendly and very efficient.

Posada Pachamama is a small but charming local family-run hotel just one block from a world class beach. The rooms were small but very clean and the customer service was very good. We had everything we needed even though the room was a bit tight. We were staying here with two kids and had no concerns. We enjoyed walking to...

We arrived from Playa del Carmen by ADO van to Mahahual in the afternoon. We checked out several hotels and then returned to this one due to price, location and cleanliness. Small but cozy room. The hotel felt very clean and well-taken care of. The café had a good selection of snacks and smaller sandwiches for good prices too. Very friendly waitress working there! We recommend this place, for 800 pesos it's well worth what you're getting.

Small and very noisy old looking rooms and rusty bathroom in the first floor, don't expect to sleep as you'll be hearing stomping doors, foot steeps, childrens crying or yelling, staff talking loudly all the time, blenders, dragging tables and chairs from the restaurant, noise coming from the top floors (and I really mean it, 6 out of 7 days...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Dear guest,Posada Pachamama was born in May 2007 after nine months of construction, just like a baby growing in his mother's womb. On August 20, 2007 the Posada had to close because of the damage caused by hurricane Dean. In November, after several weeks of re-building we were open for business once again; ready to receive all of those who want to visit us. We remodel it again in 2013 with more details and amenities. We are in the middle of the town, just 20 mts far to the beach and you don t have to cross the street to coming there. In this area there are the most popular restaurant in the town. We are just 20 mts far to the public Health Center. Best regards Massimiliano Palli Posada Pachamama ... more   less
