NB I have corrected location as it is on main road in village on left as arriving, next to Lol Ha!). Original location on maps.me AND Bkng.c by lake was completely misleading! We arrived at Coba via a bus from Tulum (from Majahual originally in the morning) and had not booked ahead. We had seen HS online at a good...

Nice, budget place run by friendly folks. Clean room with hot water and comfortable bed. Wifi worked--better than some other places. Super location. Just a short walk to the ruins and well worth staying in the town to be there before the crowds. Convenience store downstairs has everything you might need including a cold beer while you wait for busses...

We stayed only one night in this hotel and had a dinner there as well. The room is very clean and cosy with a big clean bathroom and hot shower! The hotel is small, I guess only 7 rooms or so. They do not speak any english which might be a problem for not spanish speakers, but they are friendly...

Very peaceful and quiet. Excellent food at the hotel restaurant! Rooms are new, spacious and immaculate. Crickets at night; roosters in the morning. Froendly and very helpful family. Walk along the lake in the evening. Rent bikes inside, NOT outside the park. Het there around 8 AM opening to avoid crowds. Take water and a hotel sandwich. Neef a whole...

We stayed at Hotel Sacbe for two nights and we're really pleased. There aren't many options for lodging in Coba as most of the visitors bus in for the day only. The rooms were clean and bright (we were on the second floor) and the shower was hot. The wifi is spotty but it was like that everywhere we stayed...

Pros: Decent budget motel located over convenience store on the main drag in Coba. Clean if sparse rooms with well-worn furniture, but comfortable beds and a working A/C. Staff was friendly and helpful; Spanish speakers here only. Lodging was within a 10 or 15 minute walk to the Coba ruins, which allowed us to get up early and get to...

Pros: Cheap, adequately clean and near Coba ruins, WiFi in room Cons: 1) Missed morning reservations for tour because the owners locked the gates for the hotel and the car parking lot. Kept phone off the hook as well and don't live on property and so no way to contact them. 2) Dirty sheets in room initially but changed when...

Simple, clean and well priced hotel located at the entrance of the town. The service is friendly and sympathic. You can rent bikes here which is a good way of getting to the three cenotes located close to the town.

The ruins are definitely worth including on your itinerary, and the local three cenotes are the most magical we saw on our whole trip - don't miss them. This hotel was easy to find and centrally located, we felt safe and they provided off-street parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, but spoke no English, so be forewarned. A few...

We stayed in this hotel just one night. We expect everything, but we were pleasantly surprise. The hotel room was clean, and big. The staff was really friendly. You can have a beer on terace and buy everything in the shop there. The hotel t is almost first building in Coba so its really easy to find it.

“In a month I only killed one bug in the room, which must be some kind of record for hotels in this part of the world. I suspect that being on the second floor helped with that. The internet signal is also stronger as you get closer to the restaurant seating area.”
