We have been enjoying this property for years. Away from the busy-ness of Akumal Bay but sandwiched between Half Moon Bay and Yal Ku Lagoon, It provides a peaceful, relaxing retreat while being close enough to restaurants, snorkeling, etc. There is no beach directly in front of the property (fun to walk with water shoes or sandals) but a short...

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Walking distance to Yal Ku Lagoon. The beach is walking distance. The point that the condo is on is so beautiful. Just make sure to bring water shoes to explore. The room was stunning and Claudia and Juan Pablo were very welcoming. We will definitely stay again!

My husband & I stayed with another couple in Condo #1. Quiet, friendly complex right on the ocean, an easy walk to Yal Ku Lagoon, Half Moon Bay and all the wonderful restaurants in Akumal. The owners have thought of everything...a well stocked kitchen, beach towels, snorkeling books, even a first aid kit just in case! We can't wait to...

Stayed in the casita for eleven days and loved it. Good to have transport as it is a bit off the beaten track, but worth the extra money on a hire car to be in such a lovely spot. Very clean and well equipped, all the staff friendly and helpful. Shame there is no sea view from the casita but...

I have to admit I was a little anxious after reading the last review just days before we visited. It could not have been further from the truth! This was a dream spot in every way. After a lovely welcome from the staff and later that evening from Natalie, the owner, we enjoyed an all too brief four days at...

We stayed in the Casita at Yal Ku Cai. This has to be the best kept secret in Akumal. For $70/night you get a very comfortable king sized bed (with soft sheets!), dining area, full kitchen, living room with tv, access to a BBQ and a pool, maid service, walking distance to the lagoon, with the sound and view of...

We rented the one bedroom casita. It had a bedroom with a king size bed, a kitchen with a dining table, a bathroom and a living room with a tv. The casita is very private and close to the pool where a barbeque is available for cooking. The maid service was excellent and the property is very well maintained by...

Yal Ku Cai A+! An incredible value in Akumal! Everyone involved with the property was outstanding. Very private; amazing view of the ocean; stones throw to Yal Ku Lagoon. I can't wait to return.

This is a wonderful condo if your goal is to hear the waves, be by yourselves and hardly see a sole. Fantistic staff, beds were just ok, no coffee grinder as advertized (or kettle), but no big deal here. We spent most of our time on the deck and walked and biked into town a few days.
