Our car broke down on the highway from Tepic to Guadalajara very close to Jala town and we were very lucky as we could leave the car on a safe place over there and traveling back to Tepic to stay on a hotel. We had a very nice welcome at the reception and fair price for the room. We had... More

We booked a Junior Suite and were very pleased with its location. No hotel noise from other guests. Opened onto a lovely lawn area. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the service was great. Food was top quality. Lorenzo has been there 25 years, and I have known him for 19!

I really wish I could give the hotel a higher rating. The staff were wonderful, the buffet breakfast was outstanding and the hotel grounds and room were immaculate! The Big Bummer here was that there was no hot water until every other guest in the hotel left and then it was only mildly warm! If they could address this issue... More

Very clean room. Very friendly staff. Delicious food in the restaurant. Quiet at night. Nice pool (but a little deep for children). Easy to get around (just hail a cab from the street; there's lots). The only tough thing was few of the staff speak English, but I managed, and they were extremely helpful.

Las Palomas is a nice clean hotel in Tepic. I liked it better than the Fray Junipero because the rooms are bigger and you can park your car next to your room. This hotel also has a pool and Jacuzzi. They have free internet service and offer a very nice breakfast buffet. The service was excelent.
